i love this color. i was looking for a bronzer that didnt make me look like a brick and that didnt make me look like an orange and didnt make me look like a disco ball (most bronzers have so much shimmer in them).
this one was it.
when i look at the color, it looks like how i imagine the perect to to look, and even when i am tanned, it just makes me look bright and sort of glowing....
It really is the best bronzer I have used. I have tried so many and this one really gives u a warm color without looking like you put on bronzer. I would recomend it to ANYONE
This was the perfect color; not too much shimmer ... just right!!?? ... until it started breaking me out within a couple of days after wearing it. I know it was the culprit because I had breakouts everywhere I applied. Plus I stopped using it for a week and the breakouts started clearing up. Too bad, because the color was perfect for me!!
Anyone know of a bronzer that would produce the same color in another line?
Pros:Color; not too much shimmer; even coverage Cons:Serious breakouts
Review: I don't need this product, but I like it. It adds a warm and shimmery glow to my face when I'm going out at night. I really like that the color isn't abvous or over the top. It works with my natural skin tones and just looks like shimmery perfection.

Review: This is so beautiful. For some reason, MAs always want to apply bronzer to my already very tan skin. Personally I think they are just trying to hide the fact that their brand doesn't have a foundation match for me.
In any case, I knew MAC did have a color match for me, yet the MA insisted that I try this. It looked kind of blah in the pan, but its pure magic on m skin. Rose tones that I couldn't see in the pan emerged on my skin and were soo pretty. I'm so glad I decided to stock up on this.

Review: This is a pretty color, but I can only wear it as a blush. While I like how the transparent coloring works with almost all warm tones, the finish of this would make my pores look large and obvious. I remedy that problem by misting my face with MAC Fix+ and then taking a fluffy loose powder brush and smoothing over the blush to even it out.

Gold Deposit: This is an orange based gold, but I really like it. My only suggestion is to use a light hand if you are pale because it can make you look orange
So Ceylon: This is my favorite MSF. So Ceylon is this gorgeous blend of rose and bronze and that lights up my skin. It looks good with just about anything.
Metal Rock: This deep brown with slight berry undertones was tough for me to use. Its almost too pigmented for my cheeks, so I use it as an eyeshadow crease color. Don't knock it until you've paired it with Say Yeah! The color combination is out of this world.

IMO, MSFs are one of MAC's best products. These limited edition baked
half domes are amazing. I have 9 out the 10 that have come out (darn
Pleasureflush... you will be mine!). The three that I have listed here
(Gold Deposit/So Ceylon/Metal Rock) work great as blush/bronzer. I
apply these with my MAC #187 brush. FYI - if you spray the brush with
Fix + and then apply the product, you will get a more intense sort of
glazed look. I love it. With these colors, you can also do a natural
look or use more product for more color payoff. MSF's rock!
This is a matte bronzer that suits my fair to medium complexion. I love the colour when it first goes on, makes my freckles more noticeable which I love, and makes my blue eyes pop! The only downside to this bronzer for me (and this could just be my skin) but it goes really orangey and oxidises on my skin during the day. So not great staying power but a great bronzer for fair through to olive complexions!
Pros:great colour, good compact with generous sized mirror, Cons:doesnt last long on skin
Pros:Packaging is okay- colour looked great in the compact- too bad it didn't show up on me! Im a c40 for the Studio Fix powder Cons:Thank God I got a refund! This was the darkest brozer MAC had- Did not give me the "glow" I wanted-
This to me is the most versatile color of all the Mineral Skinfinishes. It is a light champagne /vanilla color. Is has very light shimmer. I think that this would be good for mot skin tones as it only adds a little shimmer and not alot of color. The skinfinishes are a good price because they could last you a lifetime although this specific color could be used faster because it can be used all over. The only thing I dont care for about these is that they are LE and very fragile.
Stereo Rose Skinfinish is a fantastic multi purpose MAC product. This is a very pretty rosey color that I use all over as a bronzer, highlighter, or blush (not all at the same time of course!) This product is well worth the money as it could easily last me 5 years. The packaging is nice as well. The only thing I dont care for about these is that they are LE and very fragile.
So ceylon, what can someone say about you but "perfect". At first glance, you look way to dark for my PPP skin but you are perfect with my 187 MAC brush. You were a little more than I wanted to pay (secondary market) but your darker color should last me a lifetime. You came perfectly round with a little proctective cap on top. I love you, So Ceylon.
Pros:Perfect color. A little swipe goes along way Cons:Out ouf prodcution
I usually use Golden but this time I tried refined Golden and so far I like it better than Golden. The color is similar but for some reason the texture seems better. It has slightly more shimmer particles in it so if that's not your thing, maybe you would prefer Golden or a bronzer from another brand. As always the MAC quality is great, no exceptions here. The only thing is, you do need to take it with you for touch ups because it does wear off after a while. I have no problems with that. Just want to add that this is meant for lighter skinned gals.
Pros:easy to use, reasonably priced, accessible to all, adds a nice golden glow to the skin Cons:needs to be re-applied after a while.
