I bought this product on sale for $5.99, it is usually $9.99. the packaging makes the product look darker than it is. The brown packaging makes it look tan. i got it in the lightest shade - Light 0. it made me look yellowish. i am very pale. it does have a lighter feel to it than other liquid foundations, such as loreal truematch. but when i had opened it, there was no nozzle. the nozzle is supposed to be a dropper, shaped like the lid. but when i opened it there was product all in the lid. i guess thats why it was on sale. it was completely sealed but im sure they knocked off 40% of the price because of a damaged batch. i dont understand how a machine can make a mistake like that & you only notice it once its in every store. well, i fell like that was a piece of crap, no im thinking about debottling it & finding something else to put it in. that just irritates me so much. they didnt have a wide color selection. now there is product all over the opening & past the lid. UGH!!

I absolutely do not use the so-called 'extender'. My makeup lasts much
longer without it. It's medium to heavy coverage allows for even those
with the most problem skin get silky, flawless, long lasting coverage.
Oh, I do have to agree with the color selections. They need to have a
selection just like MAC's.

Very light, I felt like a had nothing on my skin. I have great skin but i need a foundation to even out my skintone and i felt this took away my glow. The color selection need to be improved.
Hi! This is a really good foundation! And that's saying something because it's so easy to be critical of foundations, you know? they have a big job and after you use it, if your face isn't flawless you'll start passing judgement. I was fully prepared to do that with this stuff- but it was great!
The foundation really pushes the fact that there's a lot of water in it. So it's meant to be sheer, so you can't get on this foundation for not having tons of coverage. With the sheer texture-- I was surprised at the staying power. It works especially well around the eyes and doesn't collect in creases over time.
I'm almost out of my first tube of this stuff and I'm sure I'll go back for a second soon. It's a really nice foundation if you're looking for light to medium coverage, something that won't cause breakouts, and something that works for sensitive skin.

Decent color match, decent coverage, and didn't leave me oily. It is definitely worth a shot. However, I found it a bit more drying than other makeups, so use a good moisturizer!
I LOVE this make-up. I'm always in the search for that PERFECT foundation that will give me a flawless base for the rest of my makeup. I'm a foundation junkie and have tried countless foundations ranging in cost from $6 - $65. I wasn't even going to try this foundation, but saw it on sale, and being the foundation addict I am, I decided to give it a try, seeing that it is made for acne-prone skin (I have combo skin with tendency to breakouts). This foundation applies just beautifully, and leaves a fresh matte finish, wihtout leaving your skin feeling tight or looking too flat. It hasn't caused any breakouts, and I love that it feels like I'm wearing no foundation, and looks like my skins, but better. If you have combo, normal to oily, or oily skin that tends to breakout, and like mediumm coverage (this gives good coverage but not heavy coverage), I would recommnend you give this a try.
I was so glad when i heard about pure makeup, the other reviews and people on the forum thought it was great. But then when i got it, I realized a needed more coverage, and that it didn't last long. I should've realized it when i saw it had 50% water, which is a good thing but not very long lasting. The price was cheap, around $8.00 for me, but it was like it says when u write a review "dirtcheap" it was like buying dirt, you can get it free (it's like water on ur face .-.) but you waste money on buying it. Though i must say the squeeze bottle was good, for travel and quick touchups (which i had to do a lot of). All in all, it wasn't that good, less coverage than a tinted moisturizer. Well at least, that's my opinion.

I have this foundation in 021 Nude, which is a bit too yellow for me. I mixed it with another foundation to get the almost-right shade. My skin tone is more on the neutral side.
This foundation has pretty good coverage, it is not drying and therefore appropriate for dry skin. All this would make it a pretty good foundation, if only it didn't feel like a mask. I prefer foundations that you can wear and forget you're wearing one. Also, my face started to get shiny after a few hours. And I don't mean healthy glow shiny.
I wore it in the winter months when my skin was even dryer, I'm not satisfied and still looking for a good winter foundation.
I would not recommend it to those with oily or normal skin.

I loved this foundation. Im not much of a drugstore foundation person, but i bought this when i ran out of my Mary Kay foundation. I loved it good covarage and the color matched my skin. It feels really light on my skin.
I recieved a sample of this from their website. I honestly didn't like it much.It was more like a tinted moisturizer look and I like more coverage. It also disappeared off my face within a couple of hours.
This is my first real foundation and I love it! Honey beige matches my skin tone perfectly which I think is a strong point in and of itself. It goes on smoothly and doesn't leave my skin feeling clogged. I actually feel less oily when I wear it. I definitely recommend this product for light skinned/fair skinned african american women especially!

Yes I need another foundation..really I do. I was at the drugstore again and I keep on passing up the new foundation by Maybelline called Pure Makeup. Well I gave in and decided to give it a try.
It reminds me of a tinted moisturizer and while the coverage is light to medium it feels like gel and makes my skin look like exactly that skin! It claims to be shine-free, contains H20(water to you and me lol), 50% to be exact and oil free.
It has given me a flawless finish and has not clogged my pores. Such a nice look. There are several colours and I chose Nude(04) which is great for my yellow-undertone(it looked a little dark and menacing but looks great on my skin) and fairly light. It feels so smooth and I don't look like I am wearing an orange mask. I do like my Age Rewind but this will be an alternate as a lighter foundation. It comes in a light, mint green tube and I like the fact I can squeeze out what I need and not make a complete mess.
Overall this is a pretty good foundation. Its coverage is medium and it feels very light weight. It doesn’t break me out either. The only thing I don’t like is its false advertising. I have been using it for a year and does not firm at all.

The tube it comes in is really cute, but the color selection is just awful. Looked orange after application, even using a small amount on my makeup sponge. I did not like the unnatural look of this makeup and it did get pretty shiny after only a few hours. I can't see how this would last 12 to 16 hours, no way.

I love this foundation for its lightweight look and feel. You really have to shake the bottle well and it has a bead in it to make mixing easier. The result is a smooth, soft, powdery and shine-free look. Wears very well throughout the day and looks believable on. The color selection is not too bad eiher. Since I have become a BE convert, however, I don't wear this as much as I used to, but it is a good foundation for little money.
Pros:Nice, powdery finish and velvet like feel. Cons:None.
