I love how this powder works. You can put some on before foundation and when you are done with your face for a nice set. I have even heard that dusting some on eyelashes will make mascara stick better. I have not noticed really. The main ingredient in this powder is corn starch. Maybe Argo would work just as well I wonder..........hmm.
Pros:Great for oil spots Cons:is this Argo corn starch???????????
I got this of of ebay, since it's very expensive to buy it in stores here. I use the sandwich method to apply it. First mineral veils on T-zones, and around eyes, and then foundation (BE) and the mineral veils all over the face. It just completes the whole look, which makes the result to last longer. It takes away the shine from the foundation, and gives a great glow...
Pros:Matte finish, long lasting. Cons:----------------------
Mineral Veil is supposed to finish off your makeup, or, if you have oily skin, you can brush it on before your powder foundation. I love it to soften my whole look or cover up "mistakes" or places I may have missed with my BE foundation. It is colorless, and blends in with any color foundation. Leaves your face with a "veil" of softness.I use it especially in the summertime and my face it dry. My girlfriend is very oily and uses it underneath all year 'round. I love it!
I thought this product was ok, I was a little disappointed b/c one of the main ingredients listed is corn starch ! So thenI wondered isn't it just really corn starchI paid money for& am putting on my face ? The good thing about this product is that tt did leave a nice touch to my face, it said its colorless but it does have a white-ish tint to it .... I like to mix a little bit of my bare escentuals spf foundation powder with this, so I save more on my foundation& get the best of both worlds... Sometimes I can get away with just brushing on a little bit of this mineral veil& no foundation at it& it still works nicely, I'm not sure if I will buy it again though, still trying to make up my mind on how I feel about this product ( they didn't have 'maybe' as an option when it asked if I would buy this again) It is light & doesn't weigh down, just as the foundation powder works. I think the only reason I have against it is the price& how it first listed corn starch as the main ingredient ! but I guess corn starch is a mineral& is natural... soI guess it keeps up to it's name
Pros:+doesn't clog pores
+didn't make me break out
+ Cons:- bit on the expensive side
- corn starch is listed as first main ingredient
- didn't notice too much of a drastic change when put on top of foundation powder
I didn't like this product at all because it made my pores HUUUUGE! I never even knew I had pores until I started using it. It is another product that works very well with some people and doesn't with others.... I sold it someone who loves the product and it worked out good :)
