This is a really nice brush and a great price. I use it for filling in my eyebrows, adding color under my brow or lining my eyes.  Very useful and versatile brush.

this is my favorite brush for eyeshadow application. as many times as i've washed it, i've never seen it shed once. i use this for all the areas of the eye, which works perfectly fine. i have all the other brushes for specific places, but i always find myself using this. my cousin was over the other day and the second she used it, she couldn't believe how well it worked. it picks up the shadow nicely and applies it nicely, too. i love the long handle for more control. i was actually at eckerd (a drugstore like CVS, duane reade, rite-aid, etc.) and saw maybelline's brushes, which i've never seen before, on the shelf. i bought this online, not expecting much, but i'm so glad i did. i'll also be buying the other brushes.

Pros: picks up shadow well, applies well, price, long handle, doesn't shed, easy to use
Cons: none

This is an angle brush with stiff yet smooth synthetic bristles.  It would probably work to apply shadow as a liner, but none of my shadows have enough pigmentation to use as a liner so it's hard to tell how well this brush works for that.  I do know this brush doesn't work well to apply powder all over the lid, because the bristles are too stiff.  Maybelline's website also says this brush works to apply brow powder but I've never tried that.  For only $5 you might check it out if you want a brush like this, though.
