Awful!...one of the worst that I have tried...I really liked the colors ...but you can't get the color smooth on nails...no matter how you try...and trying to build layers for a better look..just gets worse...very hard to take off also...and even leaves nails rough when you do manage to get it off...the price is not cheap for drugstore either
This looks like a matte mauve with a shimmery frosty look (more frosty, than shimmer). It's a nice neutral soft color (if you like mauve). I suggest atleast 2 coats with this as well to get a good even coverage. Wears like an average drugstore nail enamel. Again a good base and/or top coat helps alot with any drugstore brand.
I wish Revlon would expand their shade selection, alot of their shades do not work well with my skintone or are just too 'not me' type shades.
My skin: NW25/sensitive/hyper-oily/acne prone w/ pink undertones.
This color would be best described as a shimmery, pearlized medium violet. The pearl look, multi-colored shimmer, is what makes this violet work. The violet is a bit like a dark dark lilac, but goes on smooth. This because of how it works, is another must have atleast 2 coats, nail polish. Personally, it's not my favorite shade. Wears just like any other Revlon Nail Polish (medium quality nail polish).
My skin: NW25/sensitive/hyper-oily/acne prone w/ pink undertones.
Pros:pearlized violet shimmer Cons:the shade is a bit weird
The best way to describe this shade (Marooned) is a shiny deep blood red. This is an intensively rich deep red shade, not sure how they came up with the shade name 'Marooned'. Has a matte, yet shiny finish. Glides on smooth, love that they don't skimp on the brush (sorry but poor Avon's nail polishes might work better if they give a little more 'BRUSH'). Since this color is so deep, atleast 2 coats is a must.
My skin: NW25/sensitive/hyper-oily/acne prone w/ pink undertones.
Pros:deep dark rich color Cons:atleast 2 coats because of the shade
This is another one of my favorite shades of nail polish. It is a matted soft or pinked red. It has small hints of shimmer but takes on more of a matte finish. Wears well. This is the Top Speed formula, which means you only need one coat and it dries quick. Lives up to it's claims.
I would like to see more color selection and not just all shades of reds, plums, mauves, some pinks....they are a bit out dated in color selection.
My skin: NW25/sensitive/hyper-oily/acne prone w/ pink undertones.
Pros:one coat, dries quick Cons:want more color selection
(Color in pic is not the shade I'm describing below).
Revlon's Nail Enamel 'Wine with Everything' is a nice rich, deep-dark mauved/red color. Wears well. Great Nail Polish for drugstor prices, I would say the quality and performance is on the higher end of drugstore nail enamels.
Only downfall, I wish they would get a bit more creative with their color/shade selections.
Pros:higher end performance for drugstore product, wears well, medium to low price Cons:want more shade selection
I've been using this for a few years now and really like it
I wouldn't say it's an oil, but it helps your nails dry faster. But it
doesn't leave that greasy, oily feeling.
I have had this nailpolish color in my basket for at least 10 years. It's great for toes, looks good with light colors and faded blue jeans. If you like pinks it's really a good basic to have around. Opaque with frost, hot pink.
Pros:2 coats and you're good to go, has been around for years so it's always available Cons:
I'm on my 2nd bottle! I use this for toes only, 3 coats. It is my favorite for sandals and flip flops. Looks great with dark/new jeans and I just can't help staring at my toes in the sand at the beach. Stays put for ages, with Orly Bonder as a base coat.
Pros:Vibrant color, looks good with jeans and at the beach Cons:
I've only used this on finger nails. It looks really cool in the bottle but it's just a sheer shimmer violet/pink, nothing unique about the color. I used Bonder as a base coat but it still flaked after 48 hours.
Pros:very sheer, pretty color Cons:flaking, not a unique color
this is one of the cutest and best quality drug store polishes ive found. the color is fab, and i love it so much that im on my second bottle.
its absolutely loaded with pink and silver metallic glitter. its a little hard to get off, but then so are most glitter polishes. it dries pretty quickly and lasts for a decent time on the fingers. it lasts on the toes until you take it off.
Russet Flicker is a warm pinky red with golden shimmer, and is one of my faves for fall/winter. I only like it on my finger nails, so that's why I'm giving it a 3.
Blackberry is a shimmery dark red, and my HG of red nail polish. I wear this all fall and winter long. The lasting power is good, and it does not cause my nails any discoloration. LOOOVE THIS!
Mocha Mirage is a really complex color. In the bottle, it looks to be a plummy mocha with beige chrome. On my nails, it's a plummier mocha with golden shimmer. I love this unique color!
