I guess the name says it all with this one. The shade is a brassy shade, chrome like brass color. I expected a bit more pigment to this one, it takes a few coats to get it to work or look right. As for express finish, I never did notice it was a fast dry nail polish until now. It does dry faster, I suppose. Downfall is the pigmentation, I would prefer this to have more true color without having to apply so many coats to get the color.
My skin: NW25/sensitive/hyper-oily/acne prone w/ pink undertones.
Pros:brassy chrome color Cons:have to apply 3 coats to get the right even finished color
Wow. After looking at all the negative reviews, I guess I just got lucky with these.
These polishes dry quickly and last for a full 5-7 days on me. (Longer if its on my toes)
I rarely have time to give myself a manicure these days, but this is my toenail polish of choice because of how long lasting it is. I choose a true red color which name escapes me at this time. It get full coverage color from one coat, but like to apply two coats so that the color is really rich.
I also like to wear the red on my fingernails in the winter. I love the look of red nail polish on short, squared off nails.
I've gone through a couple bottles of this and will continue to repurchase. I bought one bottle that had shimmer in it. That's the only I would not buy again because it was a devil to get off my nails.
Pros:Long wearing and dries quickly Cons:The shimmer formulas are difficult to remove.
I have a couple of these and the colors look so tempting in the bottles that I keep trying them again, despite the fact that I know I'll be redoing my nails in a day or two. They are just very "fragile." It chips off really easily and it seems that you can see every little scratch on the surface just from them coming in contact with anything. It gives it a really flat finish after only a day of wear.
There are too many other polishes that stay on great for me to keep wasting my time with this. If you're looking for a nail color w/ good staying power, try OPI, Mary Kay or Sally Hansen.
Pros:Nice color selection. Cons:Wears off too easily.
I purchased this because they have a wide range of colors to choose from and its affordable. The color is pretty sheer if you only apply one coat. More coats can be applied if you want a bolder color. The final result is bold shiny color, which I love. The only thing I hate about it is that it chips too easily. This doesn't last me more than a couple of days but it might be because of all the scrubbing a cleaning I do all the time. :-) However, if you're looking for some great colors and for something that is cheap, this is for you.
SInce I have a tendency to want to redo my nails if they even get one slight flaw I have found that these quick drying polishes work the best for me. I have tried a lot of the brands and Maybeline is my favorite. I like the color choices and the price and the best part I can be done with my nails in no time flat. Yeah it does chip some and the finish seems to get flat even if it does not chip. The finish does last longer(and stayes shiner) if you use a good top coat (I use Sally Hansen No Chip). I have also found the Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Smudge Proof nail color for toes to be pretty good and I do not just use it on my toes LOL.
Pros:quick drying, good color selection Cons:can chip quickly
Nice polish for everyday if you like some shimmer. A nice peachy pink tone with shimmer. Not too glittery and is smooth in texture. A good polish to pick if you have short nails or just had acrylics removed as it helps hide damage. Stays on about 3 days without chips. Looks really nice in low lighting too like going out to a candlelight dinner.
Pros:nice glimmery shade, pretty on most skintones Cons:none
This is my absolutle favorite color of nail polish! (For my fingernails at least; I like darker colors on my toes.) It's a pretty, shimmery pale pink with a hint of mauve. I wore this at my wedding and I think my bridesmaids complimented me more on my nails than my dress! However, I think the Wet Shine line has been discontinued, because I all I can ever find in the stores now is the Wet Shine Diamonds line which does not have this color. :(
I was disappointed in this polish because it didn't look the same color on my nails as it did in the bottle -- in the bottle it looks like a berry color, but on my nails (even with 2 coats) it was more of a lighter rosy pink. Still a nice color, just not what I was expecting!
Electric Orchid is a purplish pink with silver shimmer. The Colorama formula lasts extremely well, even without a base. I will try more colors in this line!
Maybelline WSD nail color in Gilt Trip was limited edition, I think. It's a gorgeous color... in one light, it's a pinky tan with golden shimmer, and in another, it's a golden beige with golden shimmer. Very unique color! I also find it to be more long lasting then the other WSD nail polishes I've tried. I'd repurchase if I could find it again.
This is a super fun color. It's bright rose pink. It's really cute for summer and has a pretty shiny finish even without a top coat. With a base and top coat, it lasts a good amount of time too!
One of the worst nail polishes I have used when it comes to lasting power. These chip the same day after application. Not what I'm looking for in a nail polish. The color selection isn't great either =/
