HG quad for smokey eyes. It has a shadow a bit like shroom, satin taupe, showstopper which is a really dark matte brown and smoking, a black with gold glitter. They blend well together and look good on warm and cool toned skin. The colours are a bit on the warmer side though. Smoking is a bit chalky but if applied wet looks really nice and is a less intense black.

as you can see, the packaging is so nice. i got the warm version which has a gloss and 2 lipsticks  in viva glam V and VI. i love the colors...i have tanned skin and it looks really nice on me. glides on real smooth and has a nice color. i have yet to say how long this would last as it's pretty small. and for 3 products in one, the price is pretty good already.

Pros: nice packaging, good colors i love it!
Cons: i couldn't think of any

-6 eye shadows: Gingersoft, Pearl of the Earth, Satin Taupe, Cinders, Gorgeous Gold, Tease n Teal. Presented in an olive green case with a tiny #213 brush and mirror.
-As a whole this is a pretty decent palette. There's a good mix of shades to create various looks and a good sized mirror. The brush is useless - stiff and scratchy. "Gingersoft" (veluxe pearl) is an icy beige shimmer, perfect as a highlighter or to brighten your lid. "Pearl of the Earth" (veluxe pearl) is a dusty rose shimmer. My favourite out of the whole palette. Beautiful as a lid shade. "Satin Taupe" (frost) is a shimmery taupe and makes a very easy neutral look with "Gingersoft". "Cinders" (veluxe pearl) is an almost bruised purple/blue. The hardest colour in this palette to get to work well, it's very easy to look bruised with this one. "Gorgeous Gold" (veluxe pearl) is yellow gold with green iridescence, looks really good paired with greens. "Tease n Teal" (frost) is a medium teal shimmer, really nice as a lid shade or under lower lashline.
-This is a great palette to take on holiday as you can easily get daytime and evening eye looks from these 6 shades. All the eye shadows in this palette are soft anf easily blendable. The quality is the same as the softer MAC shadows (mainly the veluxe pearls) so there is decent pigmentation and staying power.
-Christmas 2005.

Pros: Versatile
Cons: Limited edition

I found this jewel of a palette at a CCO, and I absolutely fell in love!

The first thing that attracted me was the deep copper packaging with the rhinestones.  To me it was very showy and pretty, much like a piece of jewelry.

It comes with two lip glosses and four lipsticks, and the palette itself is about the size of a credit card, which makes it easy to tote around in the purse.

The colors chosen for this palette are mainly pink, with only two nude shades thrown into the mix.  I like the ease in which each color mixes with the others, which gives me variations of each color, which I like quite a bit.
For me personally, the only color that I had trouble pulling off was the shimmery brown.  I'm a very fair gal, and brown just looks muddy on me.  If I mix it with the pale nude, then I'm able to wear a bit more, and I don't feel so guilty about letting part of this wonderful collection go to waste.

This was LE when it first came out, so it may be a tad bit hard to find, but if you find it please buy it!  The shades are beautiful, and they're incredibly workable.

Pros: Pretty, easy-to-wear color. Easy to mix and match colors.
Cons: Hard to find. Price may vary.

I bought this palette off of ebay.  I couldn't resist because the palette was supposedly only given to celebrities at the Oscar's.  But apparently, a bunch of these went to CCO's and were subsequently bought up and sold by ebayers.  Thankfully, I won one of the auctions.  :)  (Although mine was used, it was advertised as new, but that's another story and I got some money back from Paypal.)

The palette contains (1) Sheer Shimmer Powder in Taffy, (2) Powder Blush in Deep Plum, (3) Gleam e/s, (4) Tempting e/s, (5) Brule e/s, (6) Trax e/s, (7) Delish l/s, (8) Siss l/s, (9) 316SE brush, and (10) 213SE brush.

This is a nice, big palette, but quite expensive cause I got it off of ebay.  I do love it though because it has great colors, and I LOVE Taffy.

Taffy is a great golden shimmer highlighter; it's so sad that it was LE and discontinued.  :(  Deep Plum is a nice muted matte plum blush with no shimmer.  The e/s are all part of the regular MAC collection.  Gleam is a peachy gold looking shade, altho MAC describes as a barely pinked gold.  Tempting is a dirty gold shade, which MAC describes as a sinfully rich coco.  Brule is a nice, standard cream highlighter shade, described by MAC as a soft-muted creamy beige.  Trax is the only one I didn't have before this palette- it's a beautiful burgundy-plum with bronze shimmer.  The lipsticks are nice colors that will go with everyone.  Delish is peachy bronze with pink duochrome, very pretty.  Siss is a medium brown shade, quite standard but nice.

All in all, great palette, and I would buy it again just for Taffy!

Pros: Gorgeous colors!
Cons: Pricey pricey

I am so glad that I bought this palette on ebay! I live in Hawaii and we don't have Nordie's yet, so I had to resort to ebay! (Didn't know they sold it online until after!) The colours are really cute and light. I really love Idol Eyes! Why didn't I find it sooner!?! My only gripe is that it is full of light colors besides black tied... it's like I bought a palette full of highlighters and washes! But I love the colors anyway and will just work it into my current e/s collection. I like MAC's palettes bc they let me get more colors for my money. But the also make me spend more money bc I want all of the cute palettes! :)

This is a great thin palette. It holds 15 eyeshadows. Made by MAC, but many other brands will fit in this as well (Urban Decay, Presriptives, etc.) Costs $12.50. Sturdy palette, and allows you to keep your eyeshadows together. Five rows of three, so you can organize the colors how you like. And MAC sells their eyeshadows in pan form to fit in the palette, which will save you money. Simple, black palette with "MAC" written in silver letters on the front. Great product for the eyeshadow junkies out there!
