I love the texture of this foundation. It's soft and silky which leaves your skin feeling that same way. The coverage is moderate. So if you've got slight discolorations it'll, definitely, cover it up. I wore it throughout the entire day and it didn't get very cakey. I think it depends on how much you apply, of course.

I do have to say that I don't think its price is reasonable. It's an average product to pay that much for.

This product contains Titanium Dioxide which makes black/african-american skin look ashy. When I put this on along with the dream matte powder I looked like a black ghost. It was just awful. I tried 2 different shades but got the same result. Why make a product for black skin that contains Titanium Dioxide? That is so stupid.

My fav MU before I went to minerals. The coverage is nice, and it looks very natural. It applies smoothy, and easily, and blends easily as well. Sometimes it can kind of "crumble"off if you don't let you primer set fully beforehand.

I would def. buy again (and still use it on top of yellow concealer, but before minerals!)

First of all, let me start out by saying that I have a HORRIBLE time finding foundations that match my very yellow, slightly sick looking skin. The closest I've come is Stila's "Medium" color. Anyways, my sister and my best friend had been using this stuff for a while, and had absolutely sworn by it. I, being a fan of Stila's tinted moistureizer, was in search of something with a bit more coverage, but was resigned to buying soemthing at a department store to find my perfect color. Anyways, I was at Target and saw this on sale WITH a matching Dream Matte Bronzer for $4.99. It was just too good to pass up. The first time I used it, I was hooked. My skin looked absolutely falowless and had a very pretty, matte finish. A little bit of this goes a long way. I was also very fortunate to find a color that matfches my skin perfectly! Anyways, I can't reccomend this enough. I'm a fan of high end stuff such as Mac and Stila, but this is definitely my foundation of choice when I want more full coverage. Thanks Maybelline! I can't wait to try their dream matte blushes and eyeshadows as well!

 I was very excited when I bought this product. My friends swear by it, but trying tons of foundations, I wasn't all that satisfied with the results. The texture feels great, but it never really sets. It's pretty obvious you're wearing cover-up with this stuff. I put it on with a sponge to thin it, and it's nicer then. Careful though: it draws attention to acne or dry skin. 

Being a makeup junkie, I've tried almost every brand of foundation there is, and the one I keep coming back to is the cheapest of the lot: Mabelline's Dream Matte Mousse.  It has great coverage and stays put all day. I apply it either with my fingers or a slightly damp sponge.  The only problem I've encountered are little clumps that form around the rim of the jar. This is a great foundation, and you can't beat the price.

I tried the CoverGirl match foundation (the name alludes me now) and I tried the L'oreal True Match. Neither worked. I am extremely fair with a hint of rosieness in the cheek area. I tried Maybelline Dream Mousse and I gotta tell you I love this stuff. It makes my face look airbrushed. It's easy to work with and even after a day at work to and fro in the sun and playing outside with my daughter, my face still looks great. I think it's unbeatable.

when i first brought this dream matte mousse i was so excited to try it! then i put it on and it made my skin look dryer than what it already was.. so i decided that is was because i didnt put it on right after i moisturized.. but even when i did put it on right after it did the same thing. if you have dry skin dont buy this product at all.

After reading so many fantastic reviews of this product, I couldn't help but try it.  I have some melasma on my face and it is wonderful for concealing the blotchiness.  Not too thick at all, but full coverage.  I am a convert from MAC studio tech.  My face was actually breaking out more when using the MAC product, but I've had no problems while using Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse.  This is the first drug store foundation I have ever recommended.

I am a fan of this. I have combination skin with freckles and spots. This makes my face look airbrushed. I've read reviews where the colour was too orange-y, but for me, I've found a perfect match.  It is very matte. I have to use a moisturizer on any even slightly dry patches, but it does stay looking nice for hours.  Something most foundations couldn't do, because of my oily spots. I think its the stuff of dreams! :P

I received this in a swap and I liked hoe it gives me a flawless finish. It stays put on oily skin. It's a little pricey for a drugstore brand but it is good quality.

I love this foundation. It stayed on all day long. I've NEVER found a good foundation that worked for my oily skin. With this I didn't have any trouble with oil or breakouts and it really lasted the entire day! Makes your skin feel super soft. Easy to blend. It only takes a tiny bit for the entire face. You can use an extra layer if you need more coverage. My skin looks flawless!

 

Not recommened for dry skin, but you can use a good moisturizer underneath.

I think this foundation is fair ..it accenuates dry skin or even if you dont have dry skin it makes parts appear dry,or at least it did on me.

This product is great even for those with oily skin like mine. It is the only foundation that I've used that actually leave my skin looking flawless. You can use a little for  just a nice glow, or build up the color to get more coverage as needed. It even holds up to South FLorida weather conditions. Definitely buying this again!

Oooooh! I like this stuff! I bought the color "Creamy Natural" first and found it was a few shades too dark for me (I have very fair skin), however, I loved the finish it gave my skin! So smooth and soft looking! It even made my pores seem to magically blend away! I took another reviewers advice and went to CVS where I found those sample cards and found my perfect color was #3 (I think it's called light ivory, hubby is asleep and I dont want to go into the bedroom and disturb him looking for MU).

This makeup is so good I actually want to do my MU just so I can see how nice my skin looks! LOL!

If you have dry skin though, I would not recommend this product. I have very oily skin but sometimes get dry patches and this product simply will not smooth out over those spots. I find that my Smashbox primer takes care of that though!

i love it. i bought porcelain ivory one.

my skin is very sensitive and im really pale so so its sometimes hard to find a color to blend easily. it doesnt look like a mask at all. the color match perfectly with my skin. its not too thick either. work well with concealer.

i really like it for a drugstore product.

 

I surprised to say I really hate this stuff, I usually love anything Maybelline. Its way to gooey and hard to work with & I dont like the colors it comes in
