I've been wearing this foundation for a while. I now only wear it when I have a photoshoot because it's too heavy for everyday. It is very heavy on my face and I feel it doesn't look natural. I always seem to break out after a while (after using it). It does serve it's purpose and looks great on film but not for everyday.
Pros:great on film, perfect looking skin Cons:pimples, too heavy
I loved the coverage of this, half the time I didn't even need concealer, but it's so bad for your skin! My skin has been much better since I switched to Clinique, but I still miss the coverage. I would almost consider buying it again, for certain occasions, but like a lot of people I have a hard time finding a match at MAC. I liked the design of the compact, but not that it was so hard to use the last bit of product.
Pros:Great coverage Cons:Bad for skin, bad color selection
I have had a huge love/hate relationship with any and all foundations since the beginning of time. I started using this about 6 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. It feels like silk on my face and even though I have an extremely oily t-zone, it stays matte for hours with a little help from MAC Matte and MAC loose Blot powder. It stays true all day and no touch ups are needed. I apply it lightly for daytime and build a little more for evenings. It's a medium coverage and looks like me....only better
Pros:I like the compact with seperate compartment for the sponge Cons:none so far
This is a great foundation when you want heavier coverage. I wear this foundation if I am going out or have a special event to attend. Has great staying power. Eventhough it is a cream it does not make your face look shiny. Goes on smoothly and evenly and gives great coverage over marks and dark circles.
This is a good
medium to heavy coverage foundation depending on how you apply it. You
can use a little bit and blend to get a medium coverage. It can look
cakey if you use too much and don't blend.
Sometimes I do a light dusting of Studio Fix to give more of a matte finish.
If
you have dry skin, it does show up and looks weird when in goes into
the little lines. So make sure you exfoliate and moisturize.
Here is what they say about the product:
Totally tech. A tri-system blend of water, emollients and powder. Looks
solid, glides on as a soft, creamy emulsion. Provides a natural matte,
powder-perfect finish. Smooth to blend, easy to work with: provides a
full range of coverage. Water-cooled - refreshes and hydrates skin.
Light diffusing: softens lines, creates a fresh, flawless finish. Good
on all skin types. Studio Tech is dermatologist tested, ophthalmologist
tested, non-acnegenic and safe for contact lens wearers.
0.35 oz 10 g
Pros:Good coverage. Many shade choices. Cons:Can look cakey if there is too much.
This is a great compact foundation. I like that it offers good coverage and evens out my skin, but doesn't feel too heavy. MAC also had a good selection of colors, so I think most people could find a match. Since MAC makes cool and warm toned foundations, I was actually matched with two different colors. Reasonable price for a department store brand, and the compact can be used for Back2MAC. I like compact foundations since they are easy to travel with. This one has a mirror and a sponge. The sponge works ok to apply the product, but I find that using a brush distributes the product evenly and doesn't waste as much. Definitely check this one out :)
