I bought Isadora and I loved it at first. It's really easy to apply it and achieve flawless look. However this look will not last long. After few hours I had foundation in my pores and looked terrible (much worse than with the liquid foundation). I had to blot my face all the time, while the shine was terrible. It gave me a terrible break out and my face itch after few hours. I bought two shades and spend to much money on it. I'll definately won't buy this again.
Pros:Good packaging, very easy to apply. Maybe good for those who tolerate Bismuth. Cons:Contains Bismuth, made me break out, no staying power, gets inot pores, and causes itching. No samples.
This is my favorite foundation. I have tried so many brands of mineral makeup. Most made my skin look oily and a couple of brands made my face look crepey, too. IsaDora is different.
I like Alima and Sheer Cover but they are expensive and inconvenient to buy. IsaDora was available at Walgreen's on sale for 9.99 (reg. price 15.99.) It comes in a little jar with sifting holes. The ingredients list aquamarine, amethyst, citrine and tourmaline. At first I thought this was a gimmick, but these gems make a difference. My skin looks so smooth and luminous, even hours after I've applied the makeup. Sweating doesn't seem to affect the foundation either.
If I have a blemish, I use concealer and a little powder first, then I swirl on the mineral foundation. I layer on the foundation until everything is blended and even. It really doesn't take much.
I was so pleased with this foundation that I bought some for both of my daughters. The three of us have different skintones and different skin types, but we all get that smooth glow from IsaDora.
