I am Chinese with warm/golden undertone, I tan easily. I guess my skin tone consider to be LIGHT to MEDIUM rangeIt was the second free sampler kit I've ordered from Oceanmist. The sample kit is free, just pay for the S+H (less than 4 bucks for me). You get to choose 3 foundation colors, 1 finish powder, 1 blush, and 1 concealer.
I love their SILKEN PERFECTION FACE POWDER. I have combination skin, and this help to control the shine on my t-zone nicely, and it doesn't end up looking dry, powdery, and too matte like you see with most girls whom pack on loose powder. It is more of a nace smooth natural look. I think is one of the best finish powder I've ever used.
I also love their 24K bronzer blush.
their color chart is a lot more helpful than any other place or site when it comes down to choose foundation sample. The chart categorize into 5 different undertone columns across on the top GOLDEN, WARM, NEUTRAL, COOL, OLIVE. Then on the left side you will see shade ranges from FAIR to VERY DARK.
Oceanmist foundation (Dandelion and Fawn ) is my closest match. I'm blessed with pretty good skin. But I can see that if a person's face have lots of acne bumps, this wouldn't be a good idea. Plus, if you have a lot of things you want to cover and hide , this foundation might not be enough
