SHISEIDO The Skincare Day Essential Moisturizer SPF 10: This has a very lovely soft floral scent to it. And when you apply it you can just see the moisture of it oozing onto your skin…as it kinda beads up moisture beads of water like moisture, and then blends in.
Too bad I can’t wear this one as well, it was a sample I received for Shiseido. This does not control my oil and I need an oil controlling moisturizer. I haven’t even checked to see if Shiseido has an oil control moisturizer, I’m sure they do. I’m concerned about the scent, or if it might irritate my skin. I only tried it on a small area on my face, knowing it would probably not work for my extremely oily skin…so I did not notice any irritation (plus it was on a short period of time, and small area). Shiseido has some great products and benefits from their products.
My skin: NW25/sensitive/hyper-oily/acne prone w/ pink undertones.
Pros:moisturizing, SPF, gentle Cons:not for oily skin
This moisturizer is wonderful for oily skin. It's light formula soaks into the skin and doesn't leave a heavy film or residue. Doesn't clog pores and contains SPF 10. Light enough to wear under your foundation. Usually when I wear a lotion underneath my makeup it makes my skin oily and causes the makeup to slide off quickly. Not with this. I highly recommend it!!
I don't know how much this product costs because it was given to me as a gift. Shiseido is usually a little pricey though.
Pros:non-greasy, contains SPF 10, doesn't clog pores, light, great to wear underneath makeup Cons:pricey
I tried this for about a month, and it didn't do anything at all. I have scars from acne on my face, and as naive as I'm sometimes, I though I would try it. I asked for a sample, and the woman gave me a very small about, and I could use it for the longest time, since it's a serum, thus making it more concentrated than a cream. I didn't see any difference, and nothing faded. And I didn't "discover bright and translucent skin".
Pros:Durable, and gives the face a wonderful glow, long lasting Cons:Price
I got this as a tester after asking the lady at the counter for a "glowing" face, and she though I wanted to lighten my face. Well, I tried it, and it didn't lighten my face or give me a glow. It felt luxurious, and light on my skin, and I was skepticle from the biginning, maybe that's why I did give it much of a chance, but I used it for 2weeks and didn't feel any different.
Pros:Luxurious feeling Cons:Didn't work, and expensive
This product is decent but considering that it normally goes for $36, I would search harder for a better product. I chose this product mainly b/c it's one of the few moisturizers I've found that contain SPF but SPF 10 isn't even enough to protect your skin. I know this but it must've slipped my mind during my shopping high. It moisturizes my oily acne prone skin w/small dry patches on the corner of my cheeks but if you accidentally apply too much and not by much, it can cause acne. This sux b/c the packaging is great but you can't always control how much comes out and so when you put just a lil more than normal, your skin's under attack. I would rec this for ppl w/normal skin. Oily prone skin should stick to aloe based gel moisturizers. This may work for dry skin but I'm not sure. If you're acne prone, find something else.
