I really wanted to like this product. After using it, I did notice my face looked youthful. Unfortunately, my face broke out every time I used it :(

Pros: exfoliated
Cons: broke out

WONDERFUL!!  I had been using Philosophy's Microdelivery Peel, but I started to find the 2-step process tedious, and the crystals never seemed to dissolve completely - it is also expensive.  So my drugstore had the L'Oreal Refinish Kit on sale, so I decided to give it a try.

The microderm exfoliator is EXCELLENT!!  Very creamy, not pasty like the Philosophy.  It actually can fool you when you first start rubbing it on that you need to press because there just doesn't seem to be much there, but boy, all of the sudden, you can feel it working!  DON'T RUB HARD!  Especially if you have sensitive skin like I do.  Even with my uber-sensitive skin, I only burned a bit on the first use, and that was due to my rubbing too intensely.  It rinses away well, and the vitamin E, SPF moisturizer that comes in the kit is excellent.  I have oily skin, so I usually put a tiny, tiny, pea-sized drop and mix it with my Lancome oil-free moisturizer and apply.  This gives me SPF and Vitamin E, since Lancome has no SPF, but I still get the oil-control properties from the Lancome.

For the first time EVER after using a skin care product, I had TWO people tell me how great my skin looked!!  Leaves it baby smooth, and BOY does makeup apply better after you use it!

Excellent!!

Pros: Nice texture Rinses clean away Only 1 step as opposed to 2 for some microderms
Cons: So far, I've only found the kit with the exfoliator and moisturizer. You will run out of the exfoliator LONG before the moisturizer. Hopefully, I can find the exfoliator separately.

Overall rating = 4. This is a nice at home microdermabrasion kit. Use it 2-3 times a week. It is very easy to use. Just a quarter size amount and exfoliate for a few seconds on the different areas of your face. Follow it up with the SPF 15 moisturizer. It's good to use it, since your exfoliating the dead cells and you don't want you new skin to get burned by any sunlight.
It really does make my skin smooth and soft. It's not going to get rid of everything like a professional microdermabrasion session that you get at a spa or dermatologist though. I think over time and use, it will fade some dark spots and a few fine lines.

Price rating = 3. It's not too expensive. You can find at different drug stores or Target or something.

Packing quality = 3. I like how it stands with the opening at the bottom so that the product will go towards the bottom so you won't have to doa lot of work to get it out. It's also made out of squeezeable plastic to get the product out too.

I bought the Loreal Micro-Dermabrasion because I have dry patches of skin where my foundation collects after a few hours.  I actually went to the store to search for an exfolliator, and found this instead.  The first time I used it, I couldn't believe the difference in the way my skin felt, the change was almost immediate in my skin texture! It felt so soft and smooth. I didn't see any difference in the size of my pores, but makeup application definately was much smoother because of this product.

After my first use, though, I noticed a few pimples starting to form~ one on my cheek, and one on my chin.  These pimples were the ones that didn't come to a head, they were just little hard, sore lumps.  I continued using the products, and they went away after about a week. Maybe my face was cleaner than it was used to being after using this product, and that's why the pimples formed, maybe it was because I exfolliated, put on the cream afterwards, and immediately applied make-up, and a few pores got clogged.  The product recommended that it be used in the mornings.

Overall, I will continue to purchase and use this product.  I love the way it makes my skin feel, and my husband commented on my soft skin.  I love the polish lotion with sunscreen, sometimes I use it even when I don't exfolliate my face.  It's creamy, yet doesn't leave your skin greasy....it absorbes all the way into your skin.

Pros: easy to use
Cons: use the night before if you have somewhere to go immediately in the morning, so your face isn't red from the crystals.

Here we have 2 seperate products to use in combination with each other in order to do an at home micro dermabration. It comes in good packaging and consists of 2 tubes. One contains the MD product(silver tube)and the other contains a protective moisturiser(white tube)with a SFP for use after the MD treatment. I was quite impressed with this product and was surprised at how well it worked on my combination/oily skin.I worked a small amount into my skin taking care not to use too much pressure and massaged it in for a few mins especially around the nose, chin and forehead area.My skin did feel very soft and clean to the touch and the moisturiser was nice and rich.I loved the small grains in the product as i could feel it sloughing off the dead surface skin cells. All in all this is a good 2 step formula and gives very good results.I would definatley recomend.

Pros: fine textured grains leave skin silky smooth and feeling clean. Better than some other at home MD kits.
Cons: the Post Treatment Moisturiser has a slighly unpleasant strong smell.
