I bought this after reading reviews on line. Not a bad eye cream but not as brilliant as made out either. Hugely expensive. Hard to get out all cream when you get to the end of container. After using hundreds of eye creams, have come to the conclusion that nothing is be a miracle. Although I am enjoying Meaningful Beauty at the moment.
Pros:Moiturising
Doesn't smudge makeup Cons:Too expensive
Not the hg that its made out to be
I saw this item reviewed on another site and it got such high marks, I was intrigued. As a woman in my early 30's, I find myself desperately in need of that "perfect" eye treatment product, the sooner the better! I acquired a sample size (2mL/.07 oz) of this product on eBay for only $10. A little goes a long way so a sample of this size can actually last quite a while. Shiseido claims this product reduces the apearance of wrinkles and dark circles, and works to hydrate and energize the eye area. Personally I felt it softened my fine lines and hydrated well without being too heavy. It has a nice texture and gentle formulation that was soothing. I didn't notice any difference at all in the appearance of my dark circles, but then again I do have a severe problem that is hereditary, so maybe nothing can help me there. As far as energizing...I can't say I experienced that! I found this to be an excellent product but not as amazing and revolutionary as the company tries to make it sound. I have purchased the little sample size on eBay a 2nd time and am almost out; I plan on buying another one. I use it when I want to treat myself or when I'm feeling especially haggard. I wouldn't purchase the full-size though.
Review Challenge January 2005
Pros:Excellent texture, concentrated, works well on fine lines. Cons:Pricey, didn't live up to claim of diminishing dark circles.
Shiseido Benefiance eye cream is a rich, hydrating eye cream that comes in a .05 ounce glass jar. The consistency is somewhat thick/creamy and you only need a little to go a long way. This is my holy grail of hydrating eye creams that I often rotate with my treatment eye creams that contain AHA's/Retinols. Because it is so rich, it is best used at night time unless you are very dry around the eyes and have line issues. It retails for around 50 USD but has been the best I have found so far for hydration.
