 soap sod is one of lushs newest soaps, and it was just added to the US website. its a bright green bar with nothing imbedded, and is cut from a giant round cake with dasies across the top. sadly, my piece had no dasies though it appears to have been cut from the middle.
soap sod has a really true fresh green grass scent. the scent is so accurate and strong that it almost has a tiny hint of turpentine to it, just like really strong freshly cut grass. the grass scent is artificially supplied, but it also contains lavender and nettle oils and gardenia extract.
it lathers a bit better than a transluscent soap, but not as well as a completely opaque soap. the lather is pretty comparable to other lush soaps. i wish it did lather a bit more.
the bar dissolves slowly, and its scented down to the last sliver.
