The Lush cult-favorite shower gel has been reborn in the form of a Buttercream bar!  What is a Buttercream bar?  Basically it's a big hunk of soap.  But it is only 20% soap--the other 80% is luxurious essential oils and butters!  So, it doens't lather up and strip the skin like traditional soap.  It gets you clean enough, but what's lovely about it is how it makes your skin feel and smell!

 

Skinny Dip's fragrance is full of clove and white chocolate.  It's spicy and intense, and not for everyone.  But those who love it, are devoted to it.  The Buttercream bar is solid yet creamy at room temperature.  It melts onto the skin and will be used up quickly if used at room temp.  I keep mine in the fridge, and when I'm ready to use some, I slice off a bit and use it in the shower like a tiny bar of soap.  It's a creamy, decadent alternative to plain old soap.  After rinsing, the skin feels smooth and supple and the beautiful fragrance lasts (and fills your entire house!).  This product will not leave your skin moisturized enough to skip lotion, so if you tend to be dry, be aware of that.

 

Lush has several other varieties of the Buttercream, and I intend to try them.  But I had to try Skinny Dip first, because they discontinued the shower gel and I was really upset about it.  Now that I know how much I like these new Buttercreams, I am happy once again!
