When I first saw this box of 8 pre-waxed 2 sided strips at Sally Beauty Supply, I was a bit leery. I remember the first time I used pre-waxed strips when I was the shy age of 16. I remember the ooey-gooey mess. The frustrataion after misplacing the wax on my arm the wrong way. The pain of having to attempt at waxing off hair that was meant to always be growing from my skin...
But now I was waxing again, and I was older. Granted, I wasn't using pre-waxed strips anymore. No, I had a state of the art wax warmer and and muslin strips. 16 oz. pots of wax was what I used nowadays. But this was in the clearance section during one of my visits to the beauty supply store. I picked it up, but then sniffed and moved on.
The next time I visited the store, it was still there, and instead of taking this to mean that it probably was not a good product, seeing as to how no one would even buy it for the low, low price of $3.99, I took it to mean that for some reason, I was supposed to buy it. So I did.
You know, for not having used pre-waxed strips in years, it's uncanny how little they've changed. Still unevenly spread. Still with that thin, sharp plastic that could slice you up. And with wax that doesn't grab anything but, skin???!!!
Moujan 2000 Press on-Pull off Pre-Waxed Strips for Body were a supreme dud and I am dissapointed I wasted even 4 dollars on them. I've since stopped waxing altogether, but I regret having wasted my time while I was waxing on these.
