i much prefer lush's revamped packaging, but i dont like that i have to open the tub in the shower. id prefer a pump. i had to be very careful about getting water in the tub. i used a little spatula because im afraid that ill contaminate the product by dipping into it with my hands. the expiration date is 2 months after creation, and when i recieved it it was about a month old already. i want to love this a lot more than i actually do. based on the ingredients, its basically a thick lotion with scrubbies. in the description, it says that its an exfoliating shower soap, and there is SLS, so i assume its supposed to lather, but it doesnt. the scent is ok, kind of acrid, jut like the banana moon soap. long story short, id be a lot more impressed if they just called it a moisturizing exfoliant, rather than an exfoliating shower soap.
color me stupid, but after a few washes, i realized that this should be used with a bath pouf. when used this way, it does lather properly. not amazingly, but decently enough.
