Maternity Bras & Larger Sizes

I can not believe how much my chest has grown since becoming pregnant! It is insane! I look like an adult film star! Ha!

I already started out at a large size (natural D cup, on a very small frame) and in the past four months they've grown to the point I can't even find a proper bra in my size! (DD is way to small now!)

I have looked all over the place. The majority of bras in DDD I can find (the few I find that is,) all start at 38DDD or 40DDD! That's way to much room in the ribcage for me. I need a 34, I can get away with a 36 as I am growing but no bigger.

I don't want to buy online because I would like to have the oppurtunity to try it on first.

Last night my fiance decided to take me to the maternity store because I was so uncomfortable and not having luck at any of the stores!

What a great idea that was! I found an amazingly super soft and supportive, very comfortable fitted bra! It feels so good to be wearing it, I swear it is almost like not wearing one at all, that is how comfortable it is!

They were having a buy one get 50% off sale, so my fiance purchased me two!

They should last me throughout the rest of my pregnancy! I'm so happy with them!

Did any of you ladies have trouble with finding bras while pregnant? What did you do or where did you purchase them from?

My sister had a baby a few months ago but none of her bras would fit me as she fit into a 38C her entire pregnancy! By the last month leading up to delivery all she could wear was a sports bra because a regular bra was too uncomfortable for her.

Over the years there have been lots of exciting developments in the fabrics and design of maternity and breastfeeding bras and the bras are now wonderfully supportive and comfortable. It's essential that your maternity and breastfeeding bras fit really well and support you properly because all the way through your pregnancy the milk ducts in your boobs are growing and developing. The best breastfeeding bras have an easy to use one handed nursing clasp which allows the cups to drop down for feeding. They also contain a comfy soft cotton lining, powerful and strong mesh side panels for that added strength, wider than usual bra straps and several back adjusters as well as extra lined cups to give superb support.

I wore sports bras before and after both pregnancies.  It was the most comfortable.  I did have nursing bras but they were horrid.

sports bras is a good choice.

I'm not pregnant but I have really big boobs and a small band size and Nordstrom has a big selection in my size. Sports bras too, I love the one by Panache.

When I got pregnant with my two children, I haven't experienced having a larger boobs. I may have added some inches but not as you do..Hmm, pregnant women really don't have similar changes in their bodies. Good thing that you found good fitted bra, because they say that one cause of sagging breasts is due to lack of good comfort and unsupported breasts during pregnancy and not because of breastfeeding.
