Scab and gelled Bloods

Does anyone know how to reactivate fresh/thick scab/gel bloods in the screw top containers? (Eg. Ben Nye, Kryolan, K.D. 151, Maekup)

I would try adding glycerin.

Just add a little liquid blood and stir well. To prevent them drying out apply vaseline all around the threads of the container and make sure when the lid is on that it is sealed with it.

I have used pre-digested protein by Twinlab before when I had no liquid blood in the house. It worked well. It also held well. Odd, I know.
