I'm getting my online Sephora purchase tomorrow. I wonder what substitutions there will be in my It Kit! I'm just very excited for it all, including the little 100 point perk Flowerbomb mini!

I just received Kit 3 today and I had no substitutions. So weird because I ordered Kit 2 when I 1st received the email from Sephora and got a substitution in that kit. Seems like perhaps these are (obviously) pre-packaged and than picked at random which kind of sucks lol. Because I assumed when I ordered Kit 2 that I wouldn't get any substitutions. Oh well. I also got the mini Flowerbomb for 100pts and it's soo cute. I'm obsessed w/mini perfume bottles.

That's the kit I selected so maybe I won't end up with substitutions!

I'm normally a lurker on here, but I had to share the news!
All the details of Sephora's One Day Wonders are available online on their website.
They've already added all the items in their online inventory and you can read about the description and details of each item ahead of black Friday (although you can't buy anything yet) :).
The one thing I'm most excited about is the Ole Henriksen set: http://www.sephora.com/3-little-holiday-wonders-P376427?skuId=1465673
But the Tarte mascara is also a really great deal. It's the same as the full size, and also includes a primer: http://www.sephora.com/multipleye-gifted-lash-enhancing-primer-amazonian-clay-smart-mascara-P376089?skuId=1470970

I got my order today! It Kit #3 came without any substitutions!!! I'm glad I was able to get the UD Setting Spray! I had expected it to be the item that was the most likely to be replaced.
Also, the Flowerbomb mini is sooooo cute. I wish it came with a spray top but there are ways around that.

I used points and a Birchbox coupon code to buy the Stila In The Light pallet yesterday for $9.25. Today I decided to try to get one more use out of my first sample card. Got to my mum's for diner and one of the first things she said is, "Your eyes look really pretty!" Yep - good sample to give me and I won't regret this purchase!!!

To be honest, I don't think it was an unfair substitution. I got the lancome one but the sephora brand dual one is my go-to. I all I can say for the lancome one is that it smells super nice whereas sephora's is unscented.. Considering lancome is $27 and sephora's is $9:50 I really don't feel like it's justified by the cost since I felt like they worked about equally as well.
Glad to know I'm not missing out much then :) thx

I have a full sized sephora waterproof makeup remover and its pretty good. I couldnt justify spending the money on lancome one. So I was hoping that kit 2 would still be available. But hopefully I can get kit 3 and all the sets I want.

Thanks for the code. I was able to order kit 3 today. I got such a good deal. I am hooked on Algenist, and had been eyeing their bundles for a while. Today I ordered the Algenist/ Anti-Wrinkle Expert Trio Set, for $95, which comes with one ounce of serum, and .5 ounces of moisturizer. I was waffling a little, until I saw the 100 point perk of an additional .5 ounce of the moisturizer! So I scooped them up together, and I am feeling pretty pleased with myself. I was only waffling a little, because I keep thinking Sephora may have an even better deal coming out next month. I am a VIB, and I was hoping they would give me some kind of really amazing coupon. Maybe they will, and I'll have to make another purchase. lol I need to call them in a few days, and have them tell me how close I am to qualifying for VIB for next year. I think I am pretty close.

Algenist is fantastic! I've been using it for a few months now and I am hooked! You may want to visit Algenist.com and give them your email address. They always have specials going on. For example, you get a free 0.5 Firming and Lifting cream with your first purchase.
And Kit 3 is great! The Laura Mercier facial polish is a great scrub. The Clarins primer is fantastic. (I may like it more than Smashbox) and the Tarte finishing powder is amazing for setting concealer under your eyes (and smoothing out any cracks)

Thank you for the suggestion! I also "liked" them on facebook, just now. They have a 15% off code going on with their website, and it looks like they have discounts and free offers pretty regularly. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to do that before. I will for sure use that introductory offer at some point. It's tough, though, when Sephora offers so many freebies and point perks, and then also Birchbox points could go towards Algenist. I am amazed at how effective the samples I've tried have been. This is my first time actually paying money for it. lol
I am looking forward to trying out those products in kit 3. I've never used any of them before. :)

Actually thank YOU! I just placed a Sephora order to get the 100 point Algenist perk. And also another IT KIT #3 :)
You should read the reviews for the Clarins primer, the Tarte finishing powder, the Laura Mercier facial polish and the Urban Decay setting spray - they are ALL fantastic products!!!!
I know what you mean about Sephora. It takes a lot for me to not buy from them..their perks are amazing. But they have really good perks on the Algenist site too. Also they sell travel sizes of many of the products, so if you're not in the mood to spend $100 for a full size you can get a deluxe sample for $24. Good to know.
Enjoy your haul!!!!!

Is there a code for that? Because it's telling me $50.
Edit ~ never mind. I see the code. But I guess it's only one code at a time, so the mystery sample bag or free shipping. BOOOOOO!
