Despite Hurricane Sandy causing chaos and destruction at the end of October in the New York City and surrounding areas which left many areas of NYC flooded or without power (and some areas still flooded and/or without power), Birchbox and their warehouse have managed to overcome the problems and get the November boxes out on time to customers. The first of the boxes had their labels printed a couple of days ago so it should be out in the mail now or will be out in the mail on Monday. Please note that because there is STILL postal outages and delays in various parts of the East Coast your box MAYBE delayed still.

I think BB did a pretty good job of mixing up the boxes, although some look a bit more fab than others. I got 9 and 29, so doubles of 2 items. Thanks for the list, zadi,makes it easy to see everything!

I cannot believe that only one box was that Miracle Skin Transformer! Why does it irritate me when they put a product in the spoiler and its only in one box! Here's hoping it sticks around for a few more months...

I'm getting box 3; excited for the Miracle Skin Transformer, but a little bummed I got the Oscar Blandi instead of the mascara I was hoping for. I think I'll use it, but I typically use dry shampoo as a texturizer. Also, this is the first month since I've had Birchbox that I didn't get a nail polish when they were sampling one, and I probably won't use the liquid luminizer unless I get a shade that I can use as an eyeshadow because I have oily skin and luminizers just make me look extra oily.

I love the box I'm getting, so even though I see other things I would like, no need to covet. I'm sure we'll see a lot of these items for the next few months.  

The cupcake bath bombs would be great for December/Holiday themed boxes! Wouldn't mind getting one next month to give to my daughter. wub.gif

Getting Box 19.Though I don't love i,t I certainly don't hate it. Will be interested in trying the hair spray, but I'm not too excited about anything else. 

 

I just wish they'd limit the amount of food and lifestyle extras to one per box. I got two food items last box, and I'm getting a bathbomb and chocolate this month--both of which are fine, but it means one less sample I could have tried. Though, these samples make for cute stocking stuffers and whatnot. I personally wouldn't take a bath in my showerplace, but the bathbomb could make for a nice extra in say, someone's gift basket.

I guess, but it's really more a single-use treat/extra than anything else. either way, I got tea and a fiber bar last month, and I really wish they'd limit that stuff to one per box.

At my local Fred Meyer (regional store in the Pacific NW) these cupcake bath bombs are in the area where cosmetics are sold instead of in the area where shampoos and body washes are sold. So I would think that these cupcake bath bombs sent by Birchbox are considered a beauty product rather than a lifestyle extra. (Speaking of those cupcake bath bombs... the brand I've seen at Freddies comes in two different sizes and typically cost about $9 each but I don't recall if it's for a small or large.)

Just log into your Birchbox account, you will see what box you'll get from there :)

In the past it was easy if you account hadn't updated but you could still see the "Leave Feedback" button however Birchbox changed that to an across the board "Write A Review" so now you have to wait until your account is updated. Log into your account and click on Box, scroll down to the November box and hover over the link which will tell you your box #.

I got box 4

700

My husband was thrilled with the fact that one of my samples was meant to be given to a man in our lives.  (And he always feels that I get better and more interesting samples in my BB than he gets in his BB Man --good thing I've never told him that his costs double what mine does -- so he was VERY happy to receive a product in my box.)  I already had some Caldera hand soap samples that the company sent me directly, but they're such great soaps that I'm happy to have more.  I smelled the rose body oil and will be giving that to my teenage sister in law because it smells way too young for me.  The lip gloss is waaaay too bright for me...and I just received a similar color last month from either Ipsy or LookBag, so I'll probably try to find someone who wants to trade for the lip gloss....or else give it as a stocking stuffer.  But even thought the color's not for me, I really appreciated that it looks like an awesome, high quality product, AND it was full size!  So even though the only thing that's new and exciting for me is the hair spray, I'm still very happy with this months' box.  I guess because it seemed like BB really TRIED this month.  Even if all the samples aren't really right for me, I felt like I got my money's worth, which makes me happy.  Now I just have to avoid looking at the other boxes and thinking about the bath bomb or the body butter or the skin transformer...

Thank you so much for making this list! I got box #5, and it was my first BB. Box #6 would have been my perfect box though. I can't wear lengthening mascara, and I have really thick curly hair, so I gave the mascara and Oscar Blandi spray to my sister. My daughters enjoyed the bar and bath fizzy. So, in the end I only used the hand soap, which smells great. The perfume is totally not me, so if anyone wants to trade for it that would be awesome.
