Re: What is your BEST MMU tip?
Some of my favorite tricks are:
Find a MMU that works for your skin. I have dry skin so I prefer Meow Flawless Feline formula. If you have very oily skin, I recommend Monave, it has oil absorbing clay. Stay away from mineral makeups that are clumpy or beady, they will leave streaks. A good mineral makeup will absorb into your skin, even out your skin tone and wear through the day with the illusion that your not wearing any makeup.
Use an oil moisturizer as soon as you come out of the shower while your skin is still warm and damp, I like Silkia camellia oil/emu oil combo. Let it absorb for about 20 minutes. This works better than any primer I have tried.
Before applying MMU apply your highlighter and or glow powders and cheek stain first, this adds a radiant glow.
For wet method, I use a flat top brush, lightly mist my face and my brush, pick up the minerals and sweep around the parimeter of the face, working in.
For dry method, I use a kabuki and apply with a circular method. I do not tap excess out, instead I tap the excess on my problem areas, usually the t-zone and brush them out.
I do not use a concealer, I just go over my undereye and any blemishes with the same MMU in the same shade or a shade lighter with a concentrated concealer brush.
Finish with a light layer of warmth as a contour for the cheekbones, the sides of the nose the chin and hairline.
Every woman should own Silk perfection finishing powder. It is the best product I have ever tried, it gives a candlelight glow and it makes your face look fresh all day without touchups.
