Re: Bamboo Makeup Brushes from Ecotools

I use their eyeshadow and blush brush. I wish they were easier to get where I live. I don't have much use for the other brushes. They need a good blending brush and I'd be sold. A blending brush and a pencil brush. Those are the only brushes I actually need and I have so many, what a waste!

You can find these brushes at Target. I hear they are super soft, however apparently the smaller ones shed quite easily as well if not properly maintained.

Re: Bamboo Makeup Brushes from Ecotools

I have a few of these and my roommate has a few others I have tried. They are AWESOME quality. I have the angled brush (for shadow/liner) and the brow/lash comb, and I've also tried one of the eyeshadow brushes and the blush brush. Great line!

Re: Bamboo Makeup Brushes from Ecotools

I have several. I started trying them because they're cheap and I wasn't impressed with Essence of Beauty which I had been recommended repeatedly. I think they're well-made and very soft. They've never shed and I've really enjoyed the stipling and concealer brushes. They do the job for me, but this is coming from someone who doesn't own a high end brush so...

I recently purchased the 5 set from Target.  I LIKE them, but don't LOVE them.  I did a full review.

I love these brushes they were actually my first set of brushes when i first started experimenting w/ makeup. I have them all even the alicia silverstone set. I brought a revlon kabuki brush and that brush fell apart and my bamboo brushes are going strong.... I brought them all at Walmart

I own the kabuki set from last winter (which is actually still sold at Walmart) and I like how soft the brushes are for an inexpensive line. I don't care their eyeshadow brushes since it seems too big for me but their face brushes are pretty decent.

I won their 6 piece eyebrushes set and it's fantastic, you get five different brushes, from big to small, one is slanted, and a carrying case with a good size mirror. Very nice and probably the easiest kit to travel with. The brushes are travel sized but it doesn't matter, the only detail you will find in every review is despite the use being indicated on each handle, according to your eyeshape, you will use them differently. I find myself reaching for these instead of my regular brushes, so yay for EcoTools. I wish they were more accessible in my country because this set made me rediscover them.

It's good to know I'm not missing out by having these brushes rather than the MAC ones. I have several of these brushes and extras for when I'm washing a set. They have held up well in the two years I've owned them but I did order the set from coastal scents when it was on sale last week. I'll definitely have to compare the to brands! I love bamboo products, my towels are even made from bamboo and are so soft and absorbent.

I bought mine at Walgreens 3 years ago. I still use them now and i love them. Some of the best i have ever used.

I have a couple of these. I'm pretty sure I grabbed them at Ross. They're inexpensive, very soft and I haven't had any issues with shedding. I really like them!

I purchased the travel pack and the eye shadow brush sheds like mad.  I am super bummed about this.  I read if you purchase the eye ones separately they are a better quality.
