  1. It's slightly frustrating to see the disparity in customer service responses. My four most recent orders failed to include the free 3 piece samplers, which isn't a huge deal because they're usually foils anyway, but my order with the skincare MD bag was missing five of the skin care samples. I wrote an extremely nice email, and came across as thankful rather than condescending, and they awarded me a $10 gift card. While I'm thankful for that, it seems people who adopt a harsher approach are rewarded with ULTA. Ulta's customer service is starting to remind me of Birchbox... Lol
  2. Totally got sucked in to the beauty break today. Free 3 piece Too Faced beauty break with $50 purchase... philosophy foundations on sale for $25.... ended up spending about $65 and getting the too faced beauty break, philosophy GWP, neutrogena GWP, and skincare 23 piece GWP. Did I enable you too? LOL
  3. I'm platinum and received a 20% off coupon via email that is supposed to work for everything, including prestige and fragrance. However, when I tried to use it on the website, it didnt work on prestige or fragrance. I contacted Ulta but haven't heard back. I was going to place a large order, so if they don't want my money, its their loss.
  4. @ Can you explain the stacking coupon thing? Are you getting 40% off by using 2 20% coupons? I cant even get my one 20% off coupon to work that they emailed to me.

  6. I placed a large order on Sunday night at 10pm and its still showing as processing. I got an email from Ulta on Wednesday saying due to an unusually high number of orders there are delays. I am crossing my fingers that nothing gets cancelled- I placed my order right when the sale went live.

  9. Last year Birchbox had some amazing deals and contests during the week of Thanksgiving and on Black Friday... heres to hoping they do it again this year! A lot of people on this forum got $50 gift credits... crossing fingers that Birchbox does it again this year!
  10. I joined the hairkop foil club... with my most recent order I was sent 2 foils of the same hairkop product as my mystery sample pack. I wrote to customer service and they're shipping a new pick 2. Its coming from the same warehouse and I'm 99% expecting it to be more hairkop based on what everyone else is saying here. When will they learn? LOL
  11. Not to freak anyone out, but do you know what the Dr. Lipp actually is? Its 100% lanolin, which is pretty much sheep sweat. My vegan friend received this in her box and freaked out. I didn't know what it was made of until she told me, and I'm not a vegan but it still grosses me out. From wiki: "a yellow waxy substance secreted by the sebaceous glands of wool-bearing animals. Most lanolin used by humans comes from domestic sheep breeds that are raised specifically for their wool."

  14. Weird question- I'm ACES and usually when I place orders they are shipped via 2 day priority mail. I know on the website it states that only $100+ orders will be shipped by 2 day priority mail, however the last 4 orders that I placed on both of my ACES accounts were about $40 orders and they were shipped by 2 day priority mail. Yesterday, I placed an order and it's being shipped via standard shipping, projected to be delivered in 5 days. Has anyone else come across a situation like this? I don't want to email them because the website states priority 2 day shipping for ACES is only on orders over $100... but its so weird that my orders have all been shipped via 2 day priority before. Hm.
