  1. I've never found a cream that really produced results on its own. Good exercise and diet are really the key. Properly targeted resistance exercises are the best way (squats, lunges etc) combined with some aerobic exercise to reduce bodyfat. Cellulite creams can help with keeping the skin looking better as you put the other elements in place.
  2. There are so many alternative solutions to cellulite out there. But when it comes down to it, the only way to really effectively deal with cellulite is to do exercise and eat a healthy diet. Good resistance training is best (eg lunges, squats and other resistance workouts) along with regular aerobic exercise to generally work at overall body fat. Cutting down on fats and sugars on diets is going to be great too. I know some people that also swear by scrubbing with special brushes is also good.
  3. Like what someone else said, if you can squeeze it, it will go quicker! Otherwise if you soak a flannel in hot water and can get it close to the pimple, that can help to deal with it also.
  4. I keep a budget every month but still get some great deals when I browse local stores. I found a little while ago that I save a lot of money on everything with an online subscription - all the products are cheaper and I love opening the box every month!
  5. 8 glasses is just an average amount. It varies person too person. The real key is to make sure you don't get dehydrated - one way to tell is from the color of your pee - if it is dark you are not getting enough water!
  6. Any exercise is going to help, but more intense exercise is generally going to burn off more calories. Yoga is great for posture and relaxation, but if you want to burn calories make sure you choose a more intense style of yoga
  7. Sleep is really important for your physical and mental health. That's why when you are ill you feel tired - your body needs the rest to mend and repair. Everyone needs different amounts of sleep - it is just a question of working out what is right for you.
  8. A healthy diet and regular exercise are the only way. Crash diets are a bad idea and usually end up in long term weight gain. I like to make vegetable and fruit juice every morning and lunch time.
  9. Too much alcohol is too bad all around. But lots of studies have shown that a little bit of alcohol from time to time can be good for your health. The real problem is having too much.
  10. I've tried cinnamon, but didn't work for me. Good diet and lots of exercise is the only way.
  11. I go to the gym 6 days a week and do running/classes - I take one day off and feel bad if I miss more than 1!
  12. What's irritating me today? What isn't! Sat in traffic for an hour this morning, got a flat tyre, massive credit card bill arrived later - and that was just the morning!
  13. When we got our daughter her mobile we took out a pay as you go plan - that way she can't go over and if she wants to she'll need to pay for it herself. Teenagers can be really difficult. My friend had a teenage stepdaughter who hates her and goes out of her way to make her life miserable!
  14. We had ours when we were 40 - seems late but it has turned out great! Tamsin
