  • One Interesting Fact About Me
  1. January Empties (+last week of Dec) LIPS *from Left to Right Dermstore Lipsurgence lip balm - this was a free gift w purchase, I really liked it! Milani 3D Glitzy Gloss - Designer label - one of my all time faves - now discontinued ;( Jordana Lipshine - Grapefruit - this was ok, but won’t repurchase Elf Hypershine - Fairy - this was very good esp for $1, but will not repurchase Revlon Superlustrious - Peach Petal - one of my HG’s but now discontinued ;( FACE Skindinavia Bridal Makeup Spray - really love this stuff Mac Creme Color Base - Pearl - This took me over 4 years to finish up!!!! From left to right: Sample ELDoublewear - ‘tawny’ -original formula - LOVE this! so sad they changed the formula, I don’t like the new one nearly as much. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer - Illuminator brightener shade - Love this product but i won’t repurchase this shade, the Neutralizer shade is much better for me. L’Oreal Truematch Concealer sticks N4-5; W4-5 - I really love these, they don’t last very long for me though I can go through 1 a month or less no prob. The N shade is a bit too pink for me though MAC Prolongwear concealer NC35 - LOVE THIS! Hate the packaging! I still have lots of product but can’t figure a way to open the darn thing to get to it. So annoying! EYES CG Lashblast WP - not my HG, does nice volume though CG Clumpcrusher - love/hate with this. I love how fluttery it makes my lashes and does build up nicely but takes about 10 minutes of packing this on for it to build nicely. Almay Onecoat WP - CRAP! Essence Gel Eyeliner - this is not empty as you can see but this literally dried up on me in about 2 months. I don’t know why it gets raved about on YT. Its a nice black eyeliner but for it to dry up so quickly - that’s instant crap in my book. SKINCARE ROC - deep wrinkly night cream - Nice would repurchase Paula’s Choice 1% beta hydroxy gel - I won’t repurchase again, I much prefer her liquid formulas the gel gets gummy on me. Estee Lauder Daywear cream deluxe sample - I actually really liked this - full size may be a bit too pricey though Estee Lauder Idealist Even tone Serum - felt nice on skin, but otherwise useless. MISC: Ralph Lauren Romance Perfume - won’t repurchase, grew tired of the smell. BWW Be Enchanted Body Lotion - Got this for chrismas and I can’t believe I used it up so fast. I really love this scent! Best use after a shower while still wet, and in conjunction with coconut oil for extra moisturization.
  2. i saw somewhere that Nyx' SNOWWHITE is very similar - I don't know personally but you might wanna check that out
  3. Ok I have a new addition which kind of shocked me because its raved about and so loved on YouTube. Essence gel liner This dried up on my faster than anything I've every experienced. It wasn't expensive but I definitely would not be repurchasing, I hadn't used it that often and have sooooo much product left but I can't use it - its so thick and dry it does not apply well. So bummed - meanwhile my Elf gel liner which i don't like as much, is still smooth as silk and i've had it way longer.
  4. I have to admit that i was a bit in a rut for the past week or two but come Monday - I think Im going to do a brand-based theme for the week. Ill start off easy and do MAC MONDAY (try to use my Mac products for different makeup areas) FACE - Mac Matchmaster Foundation 4.0 Mac Prolongwear Concealer Mac Blush (various shades) Bronzer =TaupeShape (LE) Highligher = Superb Skinfinish (LE) EYES - Mac eyeshadows (various) Mac PaintPot (I only own 2 Paintery & Soft Ochre) These will be my bases. LIPS - Lipsticks and Lipglass (various shades) Mac Fix+ setting spray Maybe next week will be TheBalm.... we'll see how it goes

  6. Last week was kinda a fail on using my KVD Ladybird Palette this week - maybe I got 2 days use of it - but the rest I think i just woke up too late and didn't have time to make my look with it, so I had to use my Smashbox Photo Op travel palette on the go. This week Im going to use: EYESHADOWS - WnW Comfort Zone palette FOUNDATION - Covergirl 3n1 with Revlon Photoready (3 weeks going strong on using this combo - trying to use up) BRONZER/POWDER - Laura Geller Bronze n Brighten EYELINER - Revlon photoready liquid felttip eyeliner / UD 24/7 glide on pencil 'zero' BROWS: ANASTASIA BROW PENCIL, Givenchy Mr Eyebrow wax pencil *almost done! UDPP - EDEN eye primer Mascara - CG Lashblast volume & clumpcrusherd
  7. @katydid278 I totally agree with you on the L'oreal lipsticks - Im glad I'm not the only one who just can't stand the smell on those things - I was totally bummed when the limited edition LeMatte and LaLaques came out because the colors were so amazing - but I cannot get myself to get passed the smell (and taste) of them.
  8. i think POREfessional is really great, it could be how your applying it- you can't apply it like a normal primer to fill in your pores. If you are interested, I posted a before and after pic and instructions on how I make this product work for me. Check out the "Uneven face" thread.
  9. I've tried primed and pore less for my pores but not as a primer persay. But yea if you just want to spot treat for a few pores here and here then porefessional is great. As for primer to make your makeup last I really like hourglass mineral veil (it's $$$ though) or Philisophys The Present
  10. Before and after using Benefit POREfessional I just took this as a quick example of how well porefessional and this method works for me. This is really ruff because I have absolutely no makeup or foundation on, it looks even better when I do. This is just me simply putting the product in my nose which is my problem area. I'm focusing mainly on the 2 holes (pores) on the center if the nose and just out the product in top and smushed it in and patted. If I did this first then put foundation over the holes would reappear so that's why I do it after. Pretty great I'd say!
  11. I haven't tried but I assume it would the reason I say this because it seems like the action of just applying foundation on top of the primer disturbs the thin layer that you need to fill in the pore. I use primer underneath foundation mainly to make it glide in smoother but also to ensure my foundation lasts longer. For pore filling I use the primer on top of foundation.
  12. one more side note - Too faced Primed and pore less is very comparable in texture and price to POREfessional ( for another option) but I find POREfessional just slightly better. **I like Tarte's Clean slate Poreless primer for its texture and thickness but one major drawback for me is that its not tinted, and since i use these pore fillers over my foundation - you need that tinted factor in order give the the desired pore-less effect.
