  • One Interesting Fact About Me
I love experimenting with Halloween makeup.
  1. I'm getting the Elizabeth Mott shimmer shadow, Hanalei Aloe Soothing Gel, Meg Twin Nail in Lovey Dovey, Ciate London Bamboo Bronzer, and Luxie Beauty Precision Foundation brush. I'm not mad at it. I have a ton of Zpalettes the shadow can go in, liked the Hanalei lip stuff last time so I'll give this a go, I like nail polishes and looks like I'm getting two! I like trying new bronzers, and I LOVE Luxie brushes (still) but I don't use brushes for foundation so I'll have to find another use for it.
  2. MSA shows a Measurable Differences Concealer Palette and a PUR Cosmetics item along with the highlighter now.
  3. @@mirandamanda I got I Am Fearless for the lipstick and it pulled a little more berry toned on me because of how pale I am. I adored the color, but could not handle the formula. The lip liner I got was I Am Unique which is a really close shade match to I Am Fearless. The lip liner, I like, I just don't gravitate towards them as often and I have scarring on my mouth now that makes it hard to use anything that isn't a liquid lipstick.
  4. I got my box. I got the RealHer liquid lipstick and lipliner. I could not stand the liquid lipstick. If you've tried the Milani ones and liked those, you'll like it but to me they're both too drying and suck the life out of my mouth and crumble off within minutes. I love the eye shadows for use with my Kat von D quads to add some shine to the eye look. The crown brush is great too, I use it for contour. The Smashbox primer is a good inclusive item, but I don't use face primer all that often.
  5. I've seen these shadows, Smashbox Photo Ready primer, and a kabuki Crown Royal fan brush.
  6. I got Bedrock and Motown for my shadows. I already own Bedrock, but I'm okay with a duplicate because it's one I use a ton. I got the Omnia set as well and used the shader brush for a shimmer shade and just patted the shadow on my lids and it worked great and then used the smaller detail brush to smudge my lash line and sharpen my crease a bit and it looked so good! I got the RealHer lipstick in So Sassy, which I can't wear yet because I got bit on my mouth and I'm waiting for that to heal. And the Zpalette and Dr. Brandt, which I'm in love with both! This Boxy was a HUGE hit for me.
  7. I rejoined ipsy because I can't seem to help myself. I love my bag this month! Nyx Butter Lipstick - I'll wear either color really, but I have to wait to wear lipsticks another 2 weeks because of an incident. Hikari Cream Pigment in Latte - Not much of a cream shadow fan, but I'll give this one a fair go. Absolute New York liquid liner - I always need liquid liners. Luxie Brush 514 - I LOVE Luxie brushes. Biobelle sheet masks - I love sheet masks, but again, I have to wait a couple more weeks to use them. Ugh. Ipsy stepped up their game for me this month!
  8. MSA has spoilers up! Makeup Geek shadows (2), Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion, Brushes, and a small Z Palette.
  9. There's another sneek peek of fan brushes. One from SoSusan or one from Crown. The one from Crown looks better in my opinion.
  10. Oooh! It looks like one of their metallic shades I've been dying to try!
  11. Typically, you will receive the box for the month you've subscribed in. So since you subscribed today, you'll most likely receive the November box, unless they ran out. If they charged you today, November is most likely as they generally charge for the next box on the 3rd of each month.
  12. I'm slightly excited for this box now. I'm just trying to use up my glossydots, so I've already got it set up to use them this and next month. I love lipsticks, the perfume is cute, I looooove Luxie brushes, and I'd like to try more eye masks. The only thing I'm iffy on is the lashes. I'm better with half strip lashes and these look very one-dimensional. Not natural.
  13. The Lypocene I got is nearly empty and I still get really strong Orogold vibes, especially with it in my hands. I got the eye pencil in a purpley-taupe shade that's pretty but I rarely use cream shadows/pencils. The Borghese Fango exfoliator might be getting tossed because I get strong tea tree/patchouli scents from it which gives me migraines. The Pssst dry shampoo will be used, but it definitely has a white cast. The little face mask, I might not use because the way the tube makes it sound is bad for sensitive skin.
  14. They put a lot of "Naked dupe" palettes in their boxes. I didn't have Boxy when they had the Revealed palettes but I've never had much need for any of the UD palettes because they're mostly shimmer and I prefer more mattes.
  15. Like most subs, they generally start shipping boxes around the 10th of the month.
