  1. Hi everyone! I'm relatively new here. I've had an account on this forum but have been inactive for a very long time! But I'm back talking non-stop beauty I also have a youtube channel which I'm in love with. I post every week specialising in makeup tutorials for oily skins and asian skin tones, however I try and keep the content varied to suit everyone - youtube: shreyamasters92 - would love the support! xxx
  2. Hey hun! I don't think going dark is "wrong" ... wear whatever makes you comfortable. Obviously you want it to look natural so a nice warm medium brown seems a good way to go - it'll match the warmth of your natural hair but make them stand out more to frame your face nicely xx
  3. Hey love! Have you tried using a gel based primer? I also have oily skin and I use one from Rimmel. Completely inexpensive but works wonders. Keeps my makeup on my face and smooths everything out. This will prevent your makeup from coming off or looking too cakey as you'd powder less. Also, cakey-ness is due to too much drying out either from the powder you're using to set the foundation, or the foundation itself is too drying. Sometimes products for oily skins end up sucking out all the oils and natural moisture so we end up looking like a cakey disgusting mess! Try mixing the foundation with a cream so its more like a BB cream. This will make it lighter in consistency but keep the coverage, while maintaining moisture.

  6. Hello! I kind of wanted to use this as a platform to find more small beauty YouTube channels. If anyone has one feel free to share! Mine: YouTube.com/shreyamasters92
  7. i find that layering helps longevity of lipsticks... So colour your lips with a lip pencil, then apply a light layer of lipstick - dab it onto your lips and rub it in, and blot - then apply your full final layer. You'll get more wear out of any lipstick (link removed)
  8. Any mascara from rimmel is my fave! Right now I'm using scandaleyes and its amazing for length and volume! (link removed)
