  1. Are you sure it wasn't from your makeup or some other product? Blue is pretty dramatic, I have to say.
  2. Those look very interesting, I'll have to look into them further.
  3. All of the advice here just proves that not everything works for everyone. Carefully try different methods to see what works. Just don't change too many things at once, or you will never know which one is best.
  4. If you are worried about the pain and the depth of the needles, try going to a dermatologist or medi-spa. I think you get better results that way, too.
  5. I would suggest trying things one at a time. If you know exfoliating doesn't work well for your skin, skip it for now. Maybe change your moisturizer first and see how that goes. If you change too many things at once, you won't know what is working or what is causing issues.
  6. Microneedling will hurt somewhat. I recommend going to a dermatologist and trying radio frequency micro-needling. The pain is minimal and the results are awesome. They will give you something for the pain if you need it.
  7. I like the three bite rule: just take three bites and really enjoy them.

    Vegan oil

Most oils for skin care are vegan, as far as I know. That is, they are plant-based. If you are looking for cruelty-free, that's a different issue. This website lists brands that are cruelty-free. https://www.crueltyfreekitty.com/
  9. Certainly, a laser procedure such as enlighten mentioned above will help improve the quality of your skin. But once you have it, maintaining a regular skincare regimen that includes cleansing, exfoliating, toner, and moisturizer will help keep your skin looking good.
  10. Try this regimen for beautiful skin all year long: Exfoliate to remove dead skin cells. I exfoliate every night when I wash my face with a gentle cleanser. Experiment to see what is best for you, some people can only exfoliate 2-3 times a week. Exfoliating will also help your skin care products work better. Alcohol-free toner to reduce redness and restore skin's pH. Moisturize. Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen, even if you are going to be inside. Drink plenty of water. Hope your summer goes well.
  11. Everyone's skin reacts differently to products, but I can tell you that when I started to use toner regularly my skin changed dramatically for the better. Keep trying until you find the right products and regimen for your skin.
  12. I use a face brush regularly. Start out gently and see how it goes. Your skin will tell you what it likes. Good luck.
  13. Lime Crime Cashmere is my fave all-around lipstick. Sometimes I use it to blend other shades on top of it, it just creates a nice foundation. I love their colors, too, they are so intense.
  14. Mary Kay actually has the best makeup remover. My sister used to sell MK, and that was the most asked-for product. I disagree that cleansers damage the skin, if your cleanser is making you break out or irritating your skin, keep trying until you find one that doesn't. Something that important to your skincare should help, not hurt, your skin.
  15. Hormone changes are the main cause of pimples, the oily food, etc, just aggravates it. ONe of the best things you can do is limit washing your face to twice a day. Once at night to clean makeup, etc and once in the morning. Excess washing causes the skin to dry out and as a result, it will produce more oil. That aggravates pimples and you are in an endless loop of breakouts. Taking care with your skincare and diet will help reduce breakouts. Good luck.
