  1. Personally, I am not loyal to any one brand. IMO each line has its specialty stand out products. Here are some examples: Clinique/Estee Lauder-Foundation and Skin care- except Clinique's 3 step line which is boring MAC- Fluidline, paintpots, and lipsticks of course Philosophy- the 3 n 1 body washes are so decadent Inglot- eyeshadows galore Loreal- mascaras UD- eyeliner Revlon- lip products Wet n Wild- eyeshadows Physician's Formula- highlighters Too Faced- bronzers, eyeshadow primer Lancôme- mascaras and foundations Feel free to add to this list, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
  2. I do the same thing. I mix it into too-sheer foundations to add extra coverage. It doesn't feel as heavy on the skin when mixed with something else.
  3. Better options (IMO) are Lancôme Ultra 24 hr, Estee Lauder Double Wear, and good ol Revlon Colorstay.
  4. It comes in taupe and purple also, but they are shimmery instead of matte.
  5. I mixed in some light gold with a muted green to make a custom shade of green. The picture above makes me wish I would have left it marbled instead of mixing it up. Next time, maybe I'll make a purple with silver in it.
  6. I had no choice but to (re) press some Tarte shadows. I broke some while depotting them. I do not recommend depotting Tarte with any prying involved, as they crack easily. Use the lighter or candle method instead.
  7. Got on the scale Jan 1st. 3 pound weight gain during the holiday season. Time to get it off now. Todays supper recipe idea- Turkey Taco salad (made with ground turkey instead of beef). Anyone else undoing holiday damages?

  9. Crazy confession alert- I do exercise at home, but if the boys aren't home I don't do a DVD, I do crazy dancing/singing with minimal clothes on. TMI right? Also, my uncle once told me he "noticed my ass was getting bigger". I just left the room to swear/cry. He was drunk. Ahhhh, the joys of holidays with the relatives! Of course, later I thought of some witty comebacks... As far as detoxing, I love me some green tea, as I have bloating problems. I LOVE SALT!
