  1. That's understandable!! I'm trying to build a capsule wardrobe, so it won't last forever for me (at least not every month). I'm late to the party. I got a peek at my second box and I'm feeling eh about 2 items, but there are 2 I think I'll like and 1 definite because it's a repeat item (on request) with a size larger of a top that I loved!
  2. Etsy has tons of media kit templates for sale. I took the plunge, even though I'm not a beauty blogger and got one. It's been totally worth the money. I got a free vacation out of it (or at least I think I did)...
  3. Is anyone still subscribing to Stitch Fix? I've been MIA from MUT for a LONG time, popping in periodically for specific reasons. I'm about to get my second Stitch Fix box and I'm totally obsessed. I need folks to talk about it with.
  4. @@swtcndy I'm in Georgia (Metro Atlanta).
  5. I know DTB has been around at MUT for a long time, but I don't see anything active. I've been away for a long time, but I'd love for you to point me in the direction of the latest DTB.
  6. Last call! I will be trading this on a gift card exchange/redemption site at 6 p.m. EDT today, Monday, September 8th, if there are no takers! Just thought I'd offer it up to y'all because I know we've got makeup and skincare aficionados here!
  7. Thanks for the offer @@candes - I'm more in need of cash. Life is happening, if you know what I mean!
  8. @@AllyBourne The best available option is Paypal. It is still available. Upon receipt of confirmed payment, I will PM you or email you the code and pin, based on your preference.
  9. I went with Bebe and Meadow. They're very similar, but I haven't been using nail polish so I'm starting from scratch again. I've never tried Zoya, but I'm super stoked!
  10. I've used 3 tubes of it and I like it. I do agree that it provides lighter coverage. It reminds me of Almay Naturals (I think). I am a huge fan of Colorstay for the coverage, but for every day use such as at work, sporting events, etc. I use CG NatureLuxe as my backup. My only gripe is that for the CG line, it runs a bit on the pricey side. The 3rd tube was free full size sample from BzzAgent.
  11. Shiseido Refining Makeup Primer SPF 21 is what I've used for many, many years, throughout many name changes and I love it. I definitely notice a difference when I use it, though it's expensive. I've pretty much changed my ways and I don't wear makeup as often as I used to so I don't buy it often. For daily wear, I don't use a primer, but for a night on the town or a special event, I definitely make sure my primer is in place. HTH!
  12. @relocation you look great in red.
  13. I wake up at 7, even earlier on weekends because I can't sleep in. At least on the weekends I can take naps.
  14. I use coupons. I kinda went a little bonkers earlier this year, but nowhere near what you see on those shows. I've scaled it down. I buy two newspapers per week (I save $1 buying them as a double edition) and have a small stock pile. Occasionally, I will buy coupons on the internet when certain household items or hygiene items go on sale.
  15. I love Shiseido, but I have been very blessed to have been exposed to many of their products for free thanks to my Aunt who hails from Korea.
  16. Milani is great for drugstore and I've HEARD NYX is great, but I haven't been able to try it. I do like Stila, too for pigmentation. A good eyeshadow base such as Urban Decay Primer Potion, Laura Mercier Eye Basics or Shiseido Pre-Makeup Cream can make a world of difference with eyeshadow.
  17. What do you like to get deals on and where do you go? The holidays got me on a savings spree. Someone told me about pricewatch.com and I used it for (almost) EVERYTHING and I'm still hooked on it. After the holiday shopping I thought about how much money I had saved and thought, dang - I need to get back to deal hunting. I started with the samples, coupons, deals, etc. again. So, how do YOU find your deals? Since I do a lot of online shopping I've found couponcodes.com and retailmenot.com are AWESOME sites, but I also use sites where you get cash back or rebates for your purchases. There are far too many to list, but I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
  18. Ok gals, what's the verdict? How are they? I haven't been in the "game" per se for a few years, though my stash remains strong. Is Zoya good stuff or what?
  19. Other than gas stations/convenience stores/etc. I believe that I will very soon be a regular at my local Food Lion. I've only made two trips there, but on the first visit I made such an impression with my coupon savings that the employees remembered me on my second visit, nearly two weeks later. There are a few delivery places that we order from for lunch at work that know all of us.
  20. Thanks for the deal! The last makeup items I purchased were just a few weeks ago after a few years of only foundation. I got CG single eyeshadows for $0.30/ea YES 30 CENTS EACH at Kroger after a sale/coupon combo.
  21. I pass things along whenever I can whether it be to an individual/family or an organization/charity. I LOVE Freecycle and Goodwill for that mostly! For individuals I just try to listen/pay attention to what people around me are going through and pass things along.
