  1. I have GHD, I've had it about 3 years and it's still going strong. My hair is easy to get straight, and I've only tried one other brand -remmington. I found the GHD better than the remmington and it can get my friends coarse tightly curled hair silky straight with less effort than other straighteners she's used. And damn well should be good considering what I payed for it!
  2. I can't quite figure ugg boots out, girls around here wear them with tight tight pants or tiny tiny mini-skirts and I just think "What are you doing? Are you going to club or are you going to bed?" I have a pair I meander around home in, in the winter. I wouldn't wear them out and I wouldn't pay that much for them.
  3. According to this article The boom in busts: breasts getting bigger - National - theage.com.au the average bra size in Australia is 14C/12D (36C/34D), my other internet resources all appear to say that it's similar in the U.S. Is any one actually this size? I'm an 8/30 D so I'm not 'average", none of my friends fit this "average" size either... maybe every one where I live just has narrower backs or wider backs than size 12 and 14 and less common cup sizes It's impossible for my to find bras in my size, I've found a few stores that have just brought in 8A and 8AA, so that's a step forward I s'pose, they're finally recognising that there are small women out there... they just can't accept that they have boobs and make bigger cup sizes for them yet Bigger bra sizes are also s'posed to be making an appearance in stores more and more as well. That article I posted recognise that bra sizes vary a lot so maybe manufacturers will too? I certainly hope so!

The article makes me the assumption that having a tiny frame means you will be infantilized by others. Am I the only one that thinks that's silly?

I shall continue to grow my hair down to my tail bone and run risk of look like an 8 year old pageant kid -surely the way I dress, style my hair, assert and carry my self suggests that I am older than 8. I also don't know any 8 year olds that 5'2" and have 10C breast like myself, but then I don't know many 8 year olds, so for all I know they could all be just like that except for the handful I know. If it sounds like I'm over re-acting, it's because this post rubbed me up the wrong way on the wrong day.
  6. Sunscreen, sunscreen and more sunscreen -actually that goes for every one. I have freckles, I like them mostly, but I don't want them to be to dark. I wear sunscreen everyday of the year, I'm a sunscreen zealot. It can be hard to remember to do at first but now I almost do it automatically as soon as I wake up. Sunscreen will stop your freckles getting dark, among many other benefits. Alpha hydroxy acids like lactic acid and glycolic acid are also recommended, they speed up the exfoliation process, so your freckles may fade.
  7. I use it as a facial moisturiser, I have sensitive skin and it was recommended to me that I use an oil as moisturiser because they have less ingredients that could irritate sensetive skin. You only need a small amount because a little goes a long way, I don't think I'll ever go back to using normal facial moisturisers.
  8. I don't think it's about eatting only salmon for 3 days. Here's a link to the diet plan for the first 3 days of the 28day diet plan - Perricone Prescription - the Diet for Clear Skin And here's a link to the foods the creator of the diet says you should and shouldn't eat and other info about it - The Perricone Diet: What It Is I love salmon!
  9. I'm just glad she's not blonde any more, your hair shouldn't be the same colour as your skin.
  10. You could scoop out a small amount of oil, I use about a thumbnail size (it's different for every one, it all depends on your hair), fill a drink bottle with warm water, mix in the oil and pour it on to your length and leave in.
  11. For deep treatments I apply as much as possible to hair from my ears down, concentrating on the ends. I do this before I go to bed at night, then I conditioner it out the next morning -usually conditioner only gets it all out for me, but it depends on your hair. I wash with shampoo if I've applied to my scalp for a scalp treatment. I also use it like a smoothing serum, I rub enough coconut oil on my hand to make thin shiney film all over my palms, then I smooth my hands over my hair, concentrating on the ends. My ends were soooooo dry before I used coconut oil
