  1. I'm looking for a treatment for my oily scalp? I want something that I can use with a scalp massage brush to help exfoliate/cleanse my scalp. Any recs will be greatly appreciated!!
  2. I am 21 years old and am looking for a good all-around eye cream (for puffiness, fine lines, moisturizing, and possibly diminishing my "racoon" eyes). I've been trying to decide whether to try Avon's Hydrofirming Bio6 Eye Cream or Mark's Eye Be Good Preventative Eye Cream. Basically the Mark eye cream has all the ingredients of the Avon eye cream except that it also includes phenoxyethanol (which I think is just a fragrance/preservative) and sodium carbomer (which I think is a thickener). The Avon Hydrofirming Bio6 eye cream also includes the following ingredients: benzyl alcohol, eucalyptus globulus leaf extract, lupinus albus seed extract, thymus vulgaris (thyme) extract, plant pseudocollagen, sodium ascorbate, sodium PCA, geum rivale extract, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate, PPG-2-ceteareth-9, pyrus malus (apple) fruit extract, glycine soja (soybean) lipids, hydrogenated lecithin, arginine, glycine, proline, and xantham gum. So what do you think which is better?
  3. Yeah, I've heard about the St. Ives Cucumber Eye and Face Stress Gel. Hmm, I guess I will have to try it out. Thanks!
  4. This does take some time to clear up your skin but it is definitely worth it! I initially started off with the Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar, the 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide Gel and the Eucerin Skin Renewal Day Lotion w/ SPF 15. However now I've adjusted to using the moisturizer only sometimes since it seems to make my oily skin even oilier. Also, I just began using Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Wash Daily Scrub in the morning instead of the Purpose Bar (since I still have some blackheads on my chin that just won't go away). I definitely recommend the system though and it is also outlined on acne.org
  5. I just recently did some research and got the book "The Skin Type Solution" by Leslie Baumann, MD. and she actually recommends avoiding jojoba oil if you have oily acne-prone skin. I second the glycolic acid. I just started using the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Daily Scrub which contains beta hydroxy acids (2% salicylic acid) and alpha hydroxy acids (glycolic acid). So far I like the product - I only use it in the morning and then I use the Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar at night before I apply my 2.5% benzoyl peroxide lotion. Here are the ingredients for the Daily Scrub: Active Ingredients: Salicylic Acid 2% (Acne Treatment) Inactive Ingredients: Water, Cetyl Alcohol, PPG-15 Stearyl Ester, Polyethylene, Glycolic Acid, Glycerin, Polysorbate-60, Steareth 21, C12-15 Alkyl Lactate, Cetyl Lactate, BHT, Neopentyl Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Cocamidopropyl PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Disodium EDTA, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Benzotriazolyl Butylphenol Sulfonate, Sodium Hydroxide, Agar, Menthol, Benzalkonium Chloride, Iron Dioxide, Mica, Red 40, Red 30 Lake, Yellow 5, Titanium Dioxide, Fragrance
  6. 2nd on the Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray!!! I love it!!!
  7. I'm 21yrs old and I'm looking for an undereye cream/gel/lotion to replace my Clinique All About Eyes (isn't bad just I don't have much money now that I just paid my tuition and books) I have oily skin so I don't need major moisture but I'd like something that de-puffs and smooths while possibly also diminishing my racoon eyes from late night study sessions of course ...so any recs or advice would be greatly appreciated !! thanks girls!!!
  8. Hey chicas! Well...here are some of the side-swept bangs that I have been eyeing to copy!!
  9. any pics or sites where I can find pics would be greatly appreciated!! :icon_bigg
  10. Where can I find dress pants and modern business suits/career apparel with an inseam of 35"-36" and long enough sleeves?
  11. I wash mine everyday because it's fine/thin and my skin and scalp are super oily...yeah, thanks to genetics...uhh oh well! Anyways, I'm trying to wash every other day and on the no 'poo days I use Cake Beauty's Satin Sugar hair powder. It tames the oilies and makes my hair smell soo sweet...I sometimes want to try some of the powder hehe jk! However, I also try to work out everyday soo then I have to wash daily. But I switched to organic shampoos because they don't contain harsh ingredients like Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, and those other sulfates. I hope this helps! :icon_smil ej Maychi procitala sam na tvoj profile da govoris srpski! evo i ja govorim srpski :-D nadam se da si razumela sve ovo sto sam napisala gore...ako ti jos nesto treba slobodno mi posalji poruku...ja sam nova ovde pa nemogu jos da saljem poruke :-( hehe 'ajde pa mi pisi ako hoces! cao!
  12. Looking for a moisturizing, well-pigmented, nude-beige lipgloss..can anyone help..pweez :icon_chee
  13. I have fine hair, and I have been using VO5 Miracle Mist and I like that one. Also, I just recently decided to try out the Tresemme heat protectant spray (the ingredients are the same for both of these heat protectant sprays). I like both of them! They leave me hair soft and shiny without weighing it down. Hope this helps :icon_bigg
