  1. Thanks for your suggestions everyone! anyone else? I'm going to have a great snifffest at sephoras soon ;D
  2. I've been searching old threads and it seems this community is awesome at these... so don't let me down please <3 About Me I'm 18 years old. College Freshman. Female. What I like fruity-floral scents are lovely, and I ADORE a perfume with vanilla. I liked the Incanto perfumes (but they didn't last long), and Hollister Malaia. I also liked Warm Vanilla Sugar and Moonlight Path from B&BW. It should be something that I can buy from Sephora so I can test it before I buy it I'm looking for a new signature scent for daytime and maybe something sexy for night.
  3. Thanks for the help guys! How does an angled cut with side swept bangs sound?
  4. The thought of a bob scares me to death, lol. I don't think I'd ever do it. Would bangs really suit my face? I thoguht my face was too wide for one.
  5. i love the first one - how would you achieve it though?
  6. I'm looking for a new hairstyle - I'm a little bored of mine. What do you think would be flattering? [edit]I'm NOT looking to cut it into a bob, I still want length! Also, if you could provide pictures that I could give to the hairdresser that would be awesome. Also, I'm considering getting red highlights - does anyone knwo any good at home kits for this?
  7. oh, nice! is it really bulky? because it looks HUGE and i want something i can travel with :] and how is the quality? there are a couple of comments that the bigger set has lower quality eyeshadow?
  8. Sephora: Tarte Eye Couture Day-To-Night Eye Palette ($182 Value): Combination Sets Eye Couture Day-To-Night Eye Palette ($182 Value) what about this one?
  9. has anyone tried the pop beauty palettes in question? or compared them with the others on my list? :] i don't have a sephoras near me so i have to buy online D:
  10. Which one would you recommend? I already have a gold-ish eyeshadow [Prestige in Golden Retriever], a basic black smokey eye trio from L'Oreal, and a neutral-ish trio from WnW [Egypt Sands]. I want to expand into more colors, but nothing too neon or over the top. Hopefully something thats high quality yet REASONABLY PRICED. Two of the options I was looking at are: Sephora: Pop Beauty Eye Class - Smokey Eyes: Eyeshadow Sets Pop Beauty Eye Class - Smokey Eyes [12 colors, $32] Sephora: TheBalm Shady Lady Eyeshadow Palette: Eyeshadow Sets Shady Lady Eyeshadow Palette. [9 colors, $38] Sephora: Pop Beauty Smokey Rose Wallet: Gift Ideas & Palettes Pop Beauty Smokey Rose Wallet. [12 eyeshadows, 4 blushes, 2 lip glosses, brush, $42] http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P211635&categoryId=B70 Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette - Ludwig [8 colors, $34] I'm asian with brown eyes and black hair, so I need something that would be flattering on me. It would mostly be used during dances [senior year of high school, baby!] and a little during the day, although I really just rely on my Prestige eyeshadow for that. Anyone want to help me choose between the two, or suggest something else? Thanks!
  11. I ordered on November 14th or 15th and I still have not received my package. I've sent her emails and such, but her customer service is really sub-par imo, she responds every couple of days and its STILL not resolved! I sent in a paypal dispute about this, and it's really ticking me off. Just a warning for anyone who may be ordering...
  12. would it make a difference if i use these iron products for blow drying?
  13. thanks for the suggestions everyone! (:
  14. personally the way that i apply eyeliner is by tightlining (search it if you don't know what it means.. we have plenty of good threads on it). when i tightline i don't close my eye so perhaps that would work for you? tightlining is a lot more natural than normal eyeliner so if you're looking for a more dramatic look it probably won't work sorry :[
