  1. I pay around £30 to have mine done, though the place I really like is £40 but thats just for a cut and blowdry.
  2. we got our money back in the end. we caused a bit of a fuss on their FB pages and posted blogs about it.
  3. Ok so apart from a spray tan in 2005 (which was good for a few days then sunk into my pours and covered me in lil brown spots), I have never used fake tan, but I would quite like to at least do my arms, if not legs to look less white! I'm a big gal so I'm not keen on the idea of creams cos I'm worried about stripes. I wondered if the home spray ones are any good? just need some help and/or advice! help!! lol
  4. well, I went for the No7 Total Renewal Micro-Dermabrasion Exfoliator but then I got their No7 Beautiful Skin Foaming Cleanser for normal / oily skin too and because it was 3 for 2, I chucked in a new eye cream too! No7 Protect & Perfect Eye Cream Plus, cos I bought some lipgloss before that, I had a £5 off voucher so the whole lot was only £21! lol
  5. I have to second CaliMel! I love it! the only thing that I dont like is the price, but I did manage to get it cheaper at buyapowa.com! Quote: Originally Posted by CaliMel I just purchased the Estee Lauder one, and I really really like it. It smells like cucumbers and aloe though, so be aware of that if you are scent sensitive! But the formula is really pigmented without looking like foundation. It looked too yellow on me initially, but it blended right in and evened out my skintone nicely. I still have to use concealer on my undereyes/eyelids, and blemishes, but it makes the rest of my face look more refreshed, evened out and not so ruddy. I like the garnier but it's a little too dewey looking for my taste. I actually put it over the Estee Lauder one and it was perfect, since the EL one is more of a matte finish, it was like they met in the middle, plus it warmed up the color a little more.
  6. I the past I have used a combination of Bliss's Fabulous Foaming Facial Wash for every day and then No7 Total Renewal Micro-Dermabrasion Exfoliator once a week. At the moment I'm likely to just replace one or both of those products, but I'm wondering what else is out there? I've tried scrubs before I found these 2 but often the gritty bits, be them ground up seeds or salt, were too big. Bliss's are so small you hardly feel them, but the foam is lovely and with the No7 one, the grains are very small but work so well!
  7. I recently tried some L'Occitane shower gels and some Malton and Brown gels and as lovely as they are, I noticed the smell doesnt hang around and I think I quite like it when the fragrance hangs around. I also had a sample of an Elmis one and although I wasnt totally sold on the Ginger smell, it did hang around and the gel foamed wonderfully and felt really luxurious. with all that said, what premium shower gels have you used and which would you recommend?
