    Where are MAC Cosmetics made?

So I checked the back of a pro-pan blush that I just swapped for on MUA, and it says it's 'made in Italy'. This concerned me a little because the rest of my MAC pro-pan blushes (that I purchased myself from a MAC store) say 'made in Canada' and most of my other stuff says 'made in Canada'. After doing some research, I found out that Mineralized blushes are made in Italy, while most other blushes are made in Canada, with some of them being made in the USA. On one of the forums a girl said that her Sheertone blush was 'made in Italy'. This has me thinking, are Sheertone blushes made in italy? More importantly, are Sheertone Shimmer blushes made in Italy?! If anyone own Sunbasque Sheertone Shimmer blush or another Sheertone Shimmer by MAC, could you possibly check the back of it and see if it says made in Italy, or if it says made in Canada? I want to make sure that I have a claim to make against the user, before I go off accusing her that her makeup is fake. Thanks!
  2. I wasn't sure what category this post would go under...so I put it here. Feel free to move it if it's out of place. Hey girls, I was wondering if anyone could help give me some advice about a good quality lighted makeup mirror. I kind of just try to do my makeup in front of a window, with a hand held mirror. But I would love to get a lighted mirror that comes as close to natural lighting as possible. Any suggestion is welcome! I'm looking for one of the small vanity mirrors, not like the HUGE Vanity Girl Hollywood mirrors. Thanks!

    Straight Lashes

I would consider myself an expert on this topic. I have stick straight and thin lashes but I believe I've finally found something that works. There are a lot of steps, so...bear with me. 1. I first curl my lashes with a heated eyelash curler. I'm currently using the 'Diorshow Heated Eyelash Curler' ($25, at Sephora). But I also really love the 'Blinc Heated Eyelash Curler' ($25, Blinc website). 2. I go over that curl with my Shiseido Eyelash curler (the gun metal color, it's a newer version). This particular curler works so much better for me than Shu Uemura's, but it really depends on your eye/lid shape. 3. Use a WATERPROOF mascara. Covergirl's Lashblast waterproof is probably my favorite mascara I've ever used (including high end, low end, etc). It holds my curl forever, no smudging, but it gets a little messy. I also like the Maybelline One-By-One, but it doesn't hold my curl/thicken as well as Covergirl. I'll be honest, it takes a while. But my lashes stay perfect all day, and I think it's worth it. And yes, I do this every single day. Haha #beautyjunkieproblems

top 5 beauty products you shouldn't splurge on?

    1. Mascara. I have yet to find a high end masara that actually holds my curl, it's easy to find one at the drugstore. Covergirl Waterproof Lastblast all the wayyyyy 2. Lip gloss. 3. Nail polish. 4. Blotting sheets. 5. Makeup remover.

Nail Polish you're wearing right now?

Spoiled nail polish in 'Let's Get Sushi' it's a bright orange color, but it looks fabulous with a tan and is opaque in 1 coat. Obsessed with this polish.

    Teeth Whitening (MERGED)

I use 'Crest 3D White Whitestrips Advanced Vivid' twice a year (in December and then 6 months later in June). And then I use 'Crest 3D White Advanced Vivid' toothpaste, or 'Crest 3D Glamorous White' toothpaste as my regular toothpaste to maintain the whiteness throughout the months I'm not using white strips. It works pretty well. I've had a friend who got it done professionally and said that it's not worth it, you get the same results from at home whitening. But that was just his experience I can't say if it would be the same for everyone.

    TLC's Strange Addiction

I don't understand how eating all this weird stuff like laundry detergent, or nail polish, etc doesn't kill you...?

ULTA Haul! (40% off certain brands!)

I love the Revlon Lip Butters, Pink Truffle is one of my favorites. If you're looking for other pretty ones I love Peach Parfait (has a lot of gold shimmer though). Looks like a great haul, I've never been to an Ulta I have no clue where there is one close to me and I don't feel like making a trip to go find one.
  11. Kim looks amazing in that dress. And wow, Jane Lynch cleans up pretty well haha.

Heidi Montag: Better Before or After

She looked so much better before. Her eyebrow lift makes her look like she's always turned off by something....or it makes her look evil. Either way, blech.

    Launch of New Sephora Website

I've been using it since it was in Beta also, I love it personally. I love that it doesn't navigate away from pages when I add something to my wishlist, and the store inventory feature is nice (but not totally necessary-I have a Sephora close by). I think it looks sleeker, but I didn't have any issues with how the old Sephora website looked. However, I feel like this version loads a little slower, but I still like it.
