  1. My first attempt at Water Marblingg For the rest of my nails I used Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in Pacific Blue then layered once coat of Radiance by Revlon. Radiance is a bright blue/turquoise with silver, light blue glitter flex. It reminds me of a mermaids tail. It's so pretty! Application was really easy too. I thought it was gonna give me a little trouble bc of the large glitter flexes but it didn't. MY 1RST ATTEMPT AT WATER MARBLING. I WISH THE DESIGN CAME OUT BETTER BUT IT'S OKAY.
  2. Nail Polish you're wearing right now?
  3. Thanks everyone for you sweet comments!!!! I'm glad you like them ) I haven't posted a NOTD on here since then (which was only a little over a week ago) lol but it seems like forever... I finally figured out how to do the water marbling technique. It definitely looks a lot easier than it is. I'm going to post the pictures tomorrow ))
  5. Hey Jenna! I love your blog because I love finding bargains on products, especially drug store products. Im following and cant wait to read more of it ))
  6. I used Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in Flirt as the base, it's a nice rich burgundy color with a subtle tint of purple. It's a great color for fall or winter. The other color is also from Sally Hansen, its called Big Money and its from their Gem Crush line. Big Money is a fine gold glitter with large light purple glitter. It's gorgeous and the gold & purple glittermatches the burgundy nicely. I decided to just use Big Money on the tips instead of over the whole nail so I used a regular makeup sponge and dabbed the glitter on the tips. Then went back a second time and dabbed the very top of the tips again so it would have that gradient/faded look but as you can see I failed at that part. lol. I need to practice that whole gradient look. As if that wasn't enough, I was looking through my basket of endless nail gems, stickers, rhinestones, ect. I have so many that i forget about and hardly use. I found these little gold stars that I thought would look cool with the gold glitter. I placed two of them on my ring finger, nice little extra touch. Here's a swatch of Sally Hansen's Gem Crush Big Money. You can see the large purple flex of gliter Let me know what you guys think!! xoxo
  7. NOTD: Sally Hansen's Flirt + Big Money- Sponging Mani

  9. I have a makeup table/Vanity that I got about 4 years ago. At the time it was the perfect amount of space for my makeup mirror, makeup ect. On the top shelf is where I keep half of my hair products/hair brushes. Next to it I have a one of those plastic 4 drawer compartments that I keep more of my makeup in. I also have a bench that came with the makeup table. I used to be able to store my nail polish within all that but for now I have all my nail polish in 3 different medium sized boxes. But I hate it because when I go to do my nails every week I wanna be able to see the colors in front of me rather then having to look through all of them. So I wanted to buy a nail rack to hang up on my wall, but I guess there not that cheap. I went on YouTube and found a few different ways to make your own for very cheap. One way was with foam board and the other was with Popsicle sticks. I tried the foam board first but I kept messing up so then I decided to try the Popsicle stick one. Go figure, I just finished it, I just have to decorate it then I'm done. Its actually really easy to make, I used about 500 Popsicle sticks and believe it or not its really sturdy. You can make it to fit as many nail polishes as you need. i will def be posting pictures up when its done.
  10. Here is my 3rd Holiday Themed Mani and will probably be the last for this year since Christmas is 3 days away!!!! I still cant believe it, but I'm excited to do my New Years Eve nails!!! For this mani I did a normal French Manicure on all my nails except both ring fingers. On my left hand I painted a tiny snowman and on my right hand I painted just the snowman's face. I'm a little disappointed that my little snowman is kind of lop sided on my nail but whatever lol. I'm sure you can see how bad the Christmas lights came out on my right hand compared to my left hand. That's due to my shaky left hand. Another oops! Overall, I'm pleased with the way they came out, I'm not a professional so I can't expect my nail to look like they were professionally done. Kelly xoxo
  12. I'm in the process of trying out a few different nail designs. I think Im gonna do red & green candy cane nails on mine
  13. These sound like great ideas!!! Im going to use one of my nail wheels and do a bunch of different designs.
  14. The Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti Chip Top Coat is not expensive at all, you can find it at any local drugstore for no more than $6. But I bought the Seche Vite Top Coat at Sally's Beauty Supply for about $9 (which is expensive for me) but I had to try it lol. But if you're gonna buy either, go with the Sally Hansen bc that really works at preventing chipping Kelly
  15. I'm in the mood to do a Holiday Nail Art Tutorial for my blog and here, so Im asking my followers on my blog and I wanted to ask you guys to. Is there anything particular you would want to see? I'm very open to all suggestions ) Kelly xoxo
