  1. Be careful with dollar tree makeup..it's not necessarily made here in the states and not really checked carefully for lead levels and contaminants.
  2. Silk Naturals has a "Clone" set that i just got and it's fabulous! it's only $36 and if you go to retailmenot.com you can get a discount code for another 10% off. I am very satisfied.
  3. mark by Avon makes a great primer. It's $10 for 1 oz but it's better than most of the expensive brands. I've tried almost all of them and have yet to find a better one.
  4. I love my Argan Oil. I use the oil from camden-grey.com It has the scent removed but it's still wonderful stuff. I use it on my face before primer and at night. In my hair after washing. Now that i color my hair i use 2 drops to keep it from drying out. I also love Argan Oil soap from Henna sooq.com It's fabulous. Mix argan oil with my Morrocan clay powder and it's wonderful as a mask and cleanser. I can't get enough of it!
  5. SilkNaturals, SweetScents (ebay), Noella Beautyworks (etsy) Brazen Cosmetics(artfire, Etsy), Concrete Minerals (etsy) Etsy has a ton of MMU sellers and lots of them have stunning colors at affordable prices. Just read ingredient lists really well. When in doubt sample. Good Luck with your search.
  6. J. Lynne Cosmetics has them http://www.jlynnecosmetics.com/index.php?l=product_list&c=1
  7. so loving SN. i got UD naked Clone and i have to say it's spot on. the pigmentation is intense.
  8. i am such a fan. i would so expand my eyeshadow collection. love the fist kiss and pinked blush, the indelible eyeliners, try a mascara, buy all the vegan brushes and the mineral mate and the mixing medium. it would be heavenly.
  9. It just takes time to find the right shade for you. I've noticed that red purples are not so lovely on me as more blue shades of purple. Grey and me are still battling and blue walks a fine line with me. Experiment and go tot he counters and see if the ladies will do a look for you and it may spark some ideas.
  10. My fave face primer is mark Primed for Perfection Face Primer. At $10 this works just as well and as long as the more expensive primers. I'm on my third tube in 6mos and love it! My fave eye primer is by Concrete Minerals on Etsy. AT $9.99 this little pot last a very long time when used with a brush to apply a thin layer. just gor a Heartsy.com coupon and now have credit with CM and plan to stock up. these two don't let me down ever even in texas heat!
  11. I too find that mineral eyeshadows are more pigmented than most retail. Before i got into loose mineral ES I had gotten and still use Since my fave MMU site went out of business: i am now looking on Etsy to find some great MMU finds. On ebay Sweetscents Bare Minerals has her listings up and they are very good. Her seller id is: snowmandce CS 88 pallettes Stila pallets I have a few mac colors (when i can get them cheap on ebay) NYX (hit and misses for me but usually cheap enough)
  12. Liquid eyeliner is no nerve racking for me..however, I'm using it more so i can get better at using it and try different techniques i see on YouTube. even having "fun" with purple eyeliner.
