  • About Me
I am a makeup artist for the bay area and Sacramento regions. I have been studying cosmetics since I was a toddler. I would climb up on bathroom counters to watch adult females apply their makeup. Obviously, I usually tried on a little lipstick even back then.

Today I am a professionally artistic soul. I have studied many professional makeup books, taken various makeup lessons, watched endless amounts of youtube how to videos, and definitely had a tremendous amount of hands on application time. I consider myself an artistic person with analytical traits. I am always the perfectionist when it comes to cosmetics.

I recently finished an at home makeup studio. It is the perfect place for brides and prom girls alike to be pampered and feel beautiful. I hope to find many women out there who want to be pampered for a special day or just have a face to face how to lesson with an artist. Please feel free to contact me or read my blog at www.skinbeautysoul.blogspot.com

  4. jean: good for you! i have a tip if it helps use a wide or thick angled brush first to get on the right amount of thickness to the brow that you want, then go in with a thinner angled brush like something you would use for eyeliner to perfect the shape that you want. i show the technique in my blog at www.skinbeautysoul.blogspot.com and it's pretty well shown in the picture tutorial called "goth makeup tutorial fun" the second blog on the page where i do flourescent eyeshadow and black lips

  12. Ok so eyeshadow in the crease helps to make the crease recede and the lighter shade on the lid up to the crease, brings that forward...thus bringing out or defining the eye. When you the outer edge V shading you making that area recede even more than the crease, further defining the eye and bringing it out even more. The idea is that you eyes will look more vibrant, defined, and brighter. The outer edge V can also help close eyes appear wider set. Technically speaking, a Smokey eye is used more to recede the lid up to the crease in people who are somewhat "bug eyed"
