  1. Hey dolls, I recently started a makeup blog and I was wondering if you guys could check it out thoughtsofabombshell.blogspot.com/ http://youtube.com/thebeautybombshellxx http://twitter.com/_thebombshellxx http://thebeautybombshellxx.tumblr.com/ thanks so much!! xx
  2. You stated that your starting to notice signs of aging and fine lines on various parts of your face so I would recommend always using a primer for both your face and eyes so that your makeup doesn't settle into those lines and that it can last longer. You should try investing in anti-aging products, I know Olay has a tremendous line of products for anti-aging. You should also try Sephora and see what they have to offer. I think your best bet is to stick with natural/neutral colors for daytime wear. Try investing in an eyeshadow palette from BH Cosmetics and play around with the different eyeshadows to see what suites you and what doesn't. Here's a link to their 88 matte palette and for around $12 you really can't go wrong. http://www.bhcosmetics.com/products/88-Color-Matte-Eyeshadow-Palette/ They have a ton of different eyeshadow finishes for you to choose from. I think it's still possible for you to wear a bright pink or red lip. Make sure you use a lipliner to fill in your lips before applying lipstick to ensure the lipstick doesn't settle into the cracks of your lips. My best advice is to head over to MAC or Sephora and play around with the different color lipsticks and finishes to see which one compliments you better. Hope this has helped!
  3. Never buy ANY MAC makeup from a website other than MAC's very own website because it will most likely be fake. Unfortunately I don't think MAC's website sells samples; why don't you head over to one of their stores and play around with some of their pigments and various other products and see what you like and what you don't. Some MAC stores do give you free samples and some don't. I don't think MAC sells samples either. I hope this has helped!
  4. Does anyone know how I can remove threads that I have posted?
  5. Thanks! I wanted more of a dewy glow and my gut is telling me to go for the Nars foundation!!
  6. I'm trying to decide what foundation I should purchase & wear for my birthday. I'm basically looking for a medium coverage foundation that will last throughout the day and I've decided on these two foundations because I've only heard rave reviews about them. So which one is better? Thanks in advance!! xx.
  7. @Ingrid yeah it's one of my favorite lipglosses ever since I purchased it lol
  8. hey @bambrooksallyse so so sorry for the late reply. ( I used Revlon's Frost & Glow Honey Highlighting kit for Medium to Dark Brown hair. It was around $10 (it may be more or less depending on where you go and if there is a sale). I started with the tips of my hair first because I wanted those lighter and left that on for about 40mins- 1 hr. Depending upon how light you want your hair to be will determine the time you will have to leave it on. In other words, the lighter you want to go, the longer the bleach will stay on your hair. Also, make sure when you bleach your hair to use foil paper to wrap around it to ensure the bleach doesnt dry up quickly. After leaving the bleach on my hair for about an hr I rinsed it out and then applied more bleach above my tips for about 30 mins and then rinsed it out with Argan Moroccan Oil Conditioner by Organix and then applied some intensive repair leave in conditioner on my hair to restore the shine and moisture to it overnight. I wrapped my hair in a showercap that night to ensure the leave in conditioner worked and didnt make a mess on my pillows. I hope this helped!! P.S.: Try watching Youtube videos so you can get a better idea of how to ombre your hair
  9. I have heard alot of controversial things regarding the Brazilian Keratin Treatment so I've been a little hesitant in going to my hair stylist and actually getting the treatment. So I did a bit of research and found an at home Brazilian Keratin Treatment by a brand of shampoo's and conditioner's called Organix. I currently use their Argan Moroccan Oil conditioner and it works wonders for my hair so I figured this would work great as well. I purchased the 30 Day Smoothing Treatment, Shampoo, Conditioner and the 14 day smoothing treatment and my hair was pin straight. From some of the reviews I read other people had imiliar results and said it was a fool proof product. Now I'm not sure if your supposed to use all the products in their Brazilian Keratin Treatment line but I only used the ones I purchased. I believe their website is organixhair.com and most of their products are in your local drugstore. Hope this has helped
  10. Hey doll, first & foremost I want to say congrats on losing the weight, you must look fab!! I would recommend you taking a trip over to your local MAC or Sephora store and having one of the workers there assist you with your concerns. If your a bit shy and rather find products on your own try to research products on your own. Like what color are your eyes? If they are green, for example, just google or watch youtube videos on what color eyeshadows, mascara, eyeliner, etc compliment the color of your eyes. Since you mentioned that you dont want to wear anything too flashy, I would recommend you looking into neutral/natural colors. I know Urban Decay's Naked Palette (The 1st one) has numerous natural eyeshadow colors that you can play around with... For lip colors try light colors and avoid nothing too dark or too light. Try going to Sephora and swatching some lipsticks/glosses that you are interested in and then go to Target or your local drugstore to find a dupe. Hope this has helped!!
  11. thanks everyone! @Hellocat4 I'm going to splurge on one today lol
  12. I wanted to try the YSL Golden Lipgloss because it looked gorgeous and the packaging is stunning...but for the price I'm wondering if the product is any good? If not, what lipgloss would you recommend as a dupe?
  13. Hey there, I have really dark circles as well and I found that using a corrector and then a concealer works. What colour your under eye circles are actually determines what colour corrector will work the best for you. I heard really great things about the Bobbi Brown correctors & concealers so maybe hit up Sephora and play around with it or ask one of the people who work there to assist you. Hope this helps
