  1. Hi, I am 30 and need advice on my skin care/skin health maintenance. I used to have acute acne problem in my teen-age years. I still have breakout sometimes. I had used almost every single thing on m face to get rid of acne. My skin has lost the smoothness. I understand I cannot make up for the past. But is there any way I can take care of it from now on. I mean so that my skin looks soft/fresh Also I have kind of black circle around my lip and chin. I think I have combination skin. Can you please help me with these all? And suggest me a good skin care product with the ways to use them properly. Thanks

  3. Hi! how do you ladies and gents shape your nails? I love squaring off my nails. I think they look nice, clean and professional. My nails naturally grow rounded and since I have long bony spider fingers, rounded nails make them look inhuman and I've accidentally cut people with them . Squoval nails I sometimes do if I want a change in nail shape. If I want to go back to square nails I can just file them back
  4. I'm going to the Bahamas for a rave (exciting I know!) and I am looking for something that will make my makeup last, possibly all day and night (with minor touch ups if needed) through the dancing and the heat. I am in the search of a new foundation (leaning towards MUFE HD or MAC Matchmaster) but am more concerned with setting my foundation. I have combination skin, oily in the T-zone after a few hours after washing and normal everywhere else. I have never used a face primer. Is this just for creating a smooth/perfecting base or does it make foundation last longer? Also, do you find that oil absorbing or matte primers extend your foundation wear? I am thinking about purchasing a translucent powder for everyday (work) makeup days? Does this extend foundation life? Any pressed powder suggestions? I am VERY interesting in try Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray? What are your thoughts? Does it make foundation stay longer? Which products or combination (not interested in using all three!) of products do you think will help make my foundation last longer? This is a lot. I know. I appreciate your responses greatly. THANK YOU!

  6. Finally found a technique to wake up looking fresh and glowing! I always sleep over at my boyfriends house and when I wake up right next to him its like my face has inflated and skin dull and patchy. What I use to do was wake up 15 minutes before he did and quietly went to the wash room to wash my face, brush my teeth, quickly apply some mesmerizer and put on couple coats of clear mascara. But he caught on real quick and laughed. Recently though I found a great way to look good without make up. I use an electrical muscle stimulator, an EMS device for your face. There are so many on the market, but found one that works and I use it right after I wake up on my face for less then 5 minutes to tighten my skin and create better blood circulation. What I do is I wash my face lightly and then use the EMS device for 5 mins. After that I climb back in bed staring at him so he can hopefully wake up so I can look refreshed and rosy to tell him good morning !
  7. The mask direction usually say apply to a clean face and rinse off. However, since I usually don't wear make up and am not physically active, clean for me = rinse+wipe with towel.. or should I wash my face before masks? If I apply after the cleanser, it says to rinse off, so am I not suppose to use a toner and go straight to moisturizer? Does the process differs whether it's a mud/clay/charcoal mask or hydration mask?
