  3. hi and welcome. im the same as you. im always on the look out for great products and skin care.. im 38 and people are shocked at my age as ive always looked after my skin. i never use soap or water to clean my face. i exfoliate 2 times a week but in between that, i use face wipes to cleanse my skin. i splash cold water in the morning as a toner but never wash my face using water. i apply eye cream in the evening(dark circle cream by provenance) and morning(clinique anti fatigue cooling gel). and also use face cream. ive tried so many creams and one of the best ones ive used is nivea Q10 creams..i always seem to go back to them..im currently using botanics cream at night which is lovely. and in the morning im using benefit total moisture. which are great creams. to exfoliate i use vichy purete thermale.. and for my lips i use a touch of sugar mixed with olive oil to exfoliate them also twice a week. i need these things to keep me going..more so with a toddler. lol!!
  4. hi everyone. as ive spent years buying makeup and never feeling like ive got it right..im going to have a mac makeup lesson. end of. lol! i give up trying to do it myself. has anyone here had a mac lesson? if so, is it worth it? did you leave with good help and advice? and what do you think of mac products? ive had a couple i didnt like, such as a lipglass that was too sticky and the wrong colour lip liner. that will teach me to just buy what i think is good. im now learning that you have to really know what you choose.
  5. hello everyone. my name is cheryl. i have been experimenting with makeup for years..and i can never seem to get it right. i always look dry on the face and around the eyes with foundation even though i use primer, and yet without foundation my skin is not dry looking..i want to be able to know excaclty how to use the right makeup. i cant do eyeliner to save my life. im tired of never getting it right. and ive spent so much money on different makeup. i even tried the no7 lazer that matches you to the right foundation..the colour was ok but the foundation looked tacky and dry. i find that when i look in a zoomed in mirror when i have foundation on, that i can see nothing but dryness. im now at the stage where i need some professional help. im even thinking about doing a mac makeup lesson. looking forward to chatting with you all.
