  1. Thanks. I've been keeping them short for about 3 months now...and when I say that, I mean that they get filed at least once a week and often more. It's rare that they're even long enough to cut!! And yes, I am very lucky to have such long natural nail beds. Even keeping my nails as short as I do, they're still quite a bit longer than many others!
  2. I have gotten this eyeliner as comp twice in 2 different colors (one being black and the other being black lapis) and I LOVE it!! It is by far my favorite classic eyeliner pencil I have ever used!! And actually, I even usually reach for it more than my self sharpening liners that are more like crayons which used to be my HG.
  3. After 2 weeks polish free, I now have my nails back! This is Five Below's Fresh Paint in Pistachio. I think it's a fun color, but doing a mani with it takes forever because it requires a good 3 coats to be opaque. I do have to say though that while I love my short nails in general, I think this color looks really good on them!! Pic on the left is without flash and pic on the right is with flash
  4. I looked up the L'Extreme mascara because it's one I wasn't familiar with, and I too love the bottle! But it doesn't seem like a mascara I'd like all that much because my lashes don't need any help in the length department...not that they need any help anywhere really tough, to be honest. In fact, just the other day my sister asked me if I was wearing mascara...and I had literally nothing on my face whatsoever! Yes...that's how intense my natural lashes are lol.
  5. Anyone else who is a home tester only gt emailed about a study at the center in NJ? I thought that was rather odd. Oh, and I forgot to tell you guys what color my blush palette from the 3lb is...it's Framboise Flirt. And my mascara is the Definicils which I'm super stoked about because I got that same mascara as a comp a month or two ago and I LOVE it!!
  6. Makes sense. I always just go by the specific polish I'm using because some are opaque with 1 and some need 3. I think whether you get 2 or 3 from Julep depends on what profile you get from the quiz. I'm always tempted to try again, but then I think about how horrible the polishes I got were and all of the "oohh pretty" thoughts go away lol.
  7. I can't wait for this! Hopefully I actually do get it since I've never had any tracking info on it, but I completed the survey twice, so I better get it!! I won't even bother trying the Garnier stuff though. Every Garnier facial product I have ever tried has made me break out horribly.
  8. Thanks! I absolutely love them! They feel natural now. The only thing really left to get used to is pulling them up in a ponytail because they're so thick. But I don't plan on putting it all up often anyway since that's not how I like wearing extensions. I'm much more likely to put it half up.
  9. I got my hair done yesterday! Some chunky box braids! Woohoo! Here's a pic You can't really tell, but I have black and a bronze-y brown mix. The price was right ($70, though I tipped her $10, so it totaled $80), and, she was wicked fast and from start to finish it took just under 3 hours. We used almost 6 packs of the Janet Collection Super Jumbo braid, cut in half, and I think the length is perfect. The braids are very secure, but not too tight, and she left my edges be because my hair is baby hair fine along them. Overall, I am extremely happy with the results, and if these babies last well, she will be my go-to braider! The braids have already started to feel more natural rather than tight and stiff, and I think by tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest, they won't feel like extensions anymore. I've been wanting braids for about 6 months, but I had to wait until my hair was long enough for them. I'm hoping to keep these in for 2 months.
