  1. The Purity keeps going out of stock, but I managed to place an order for that when it showed up for a split second, 2xAlterna (love the CC cream, so one for myself and one as a stocking stuffer), Korres and Tocca (those two both stocking stuffers). Used the SURPRISE code and used 100 points on the Bumble&Bumble thickening spray. Now the wait begins!
  2. Have you returned anything recently? I had something like that happen with a return. Another thought - maybe they haven't charged your card yet and that's what's holding it up? In any case I hope the issue gets resolved soon - I'd give them a call or email to ask.
  3. This might have already been mentioned, but I am pretty happy with the Benefit holiday blush set - with the VIB discount it came to $29! And I have never in my life hit the pan of a blush, so sets like that are a much better "investment" than individual full-sized packaging.
  4. I went with chandelier earrings and a simple rhinestone bracelet - I'm in the less is more camp.
  5. I have combination skin, and really liked the Hourglass Mineral Veil - I think it does a very good job of mattifying skin. It does have spf, which worried me a little, but since I used a regular, non-spf foundation and setting powder on top I didn't have any issues with flashback. Another trick of mine - I have CRAZY oily eyelids, and ALL mascaras smudge on me, even smudge/waterproof ones, it's ridiculous. Through a lot of trial and error I came to using a dramatic mascara as a first layer and then a tubing mascara (I use Blinc) on top. The Blinc seals in all the color and keeps it from smudging - first time in my life I went a whole day without looking like a raccoon!
  6. I did my own makeup, and while it ended up costing a small fortune in products (since it was all trial and error), I would do it all over in a heartbeat. In the end my makeup worked wonderfully and I am now pretty much a pro at working with my own facial features, as well as the proud owner of a huge collection of varietal makeup! By the way, I had a couple of makeup trials, and all of them made me look old and angry for some reason...
  7. I'm in the same boat as many of the previous posters - did all 5 suverys, but never got the email saying to expect a delay and have nothing in the tracking system. I sure hope they don't forget about us - I was religious about filling out those surveys every single morning!
  8. Thanks! Keeping my fingers crossed then - I've been with Influenster since October or so (which would make it a little over 6 months) and had kind of given up on it, as nothing seemed to affect my score.
  9. I also got the total cleanse email - it's the first time I've ever gotten any kind of prequal email from Influenster (those cooking tv-show ones don't count) - how does it usually work after you've taken the initial test? Will they let you know if you haven't gotten into the campaign? Oh Influenster, you don't like me at all, do you? I've had more luck with L'Oreal consumer testing than with you!
  10. I guess it's also a matter of taste, but considering how much they charge ($27 for 9 truffles that we didn't even enjoy! And $8.50 for the bars...) I really was not the least bit impressed. $27 chocolate should be nothing less of amazing, as far as I'm concerned, but I'd honestly take a $3 Lindt bar over any of the Pure Madness stuff any day. I know, I was so excited initially! But I really wish you would have gotten into that campaign instead of me - maybe you would've enjoyed it a little more... I even took a look at the other Bzz, and saw that while a lot of people were giving 4 and 5 stars, there were quite a few 1-3 star reviews as well, so it's not just me. I still can't understand how anyone could manage to screw up chocolate?..
  11. I'm skipping April. The March box was yet another disappointment, so depending on what you guys get in April I might cancel altogether.
  12. I had such high hopes for the chocolate, but that stuff was just plain bad. WAY too sweet, the flavors were off, and overall it was just a very disappointing and unpleasant experience. Who would have thought one could say that about chocolate, right?? We initially wanted to do a "tasting" with my boyfriend - cut all the truffles in half, started trying them in the hope to compare notes... And after about 4 truffles we kind of put that box away. I finished the rest on my own just because I didn't want them to go to waste. *sigh* at least it was free, right?
  13. I got my rewards for the foundation study today, and I'm super happy with what I got! The nail stickers aren't something I would've bought myself, but I'll definitely use them for a special occasion. And the Color Fever Gloss in Paradise Peach is absolutely perfect. I love the color (so spring/summer-y), love the scent, love the way it goes on - and best of all, I had been needing a light colored lip gloss!
