  1. I use the Target Brand eye makeup remover. I think it is similar to the formula made by Neutrogena. It works really well and gets all of the mascara off my lashes without tugging. I hope this helps!
  2. I love, love, love this brand! I have like 10+ eyeshadow palettes and about 8-10 blush singles and all the blush trios they have made. I think the quality is very good, the longevity of wear is exceptional, and the shade choices are interesting. You should definitely give the brand a try!
  3. Hoping that it is something fun and colorful although for some reason the hints makes me think of mascara immediately. I personally am totally over the Naked concept and think they need to move on to something new.
  4. I cannot say that I have really been offended by a product shade name before. Most of the time I chuckle and find them rather inventive. I think that is significantly better than a stupid numbering system that tells you absolutely nothing about the product and makes it almost impossible to remember what it's called...Inglot does that with their products and as a result, I have very few.
  5. I cannot be be bothered with BB creams because I feel that they do absolutely nothing for my skin. I also do not do false lashes. I cannot master applying them and all it turns out to be is an exercise in frustration. I also generally do not wear lip liner. I feel it does nothing to enhance the overall look or to assist with the longevity. I also do not use any brow products. I tried with that for some time but I have already very dark and defined brows naturally. I use a spool brush to comb them down and call it a day.
  6. Thanks Kristine! I think I am going to try the homemade one this weekend. I don't know why making one never dawned on me, but it didn't. I guess I was having a duh moment :-)
  7. I would say that you have an oval face shape. Hope that helps!
  8. I absolutely adore UD and would easily call myself a UD devotee. I pick up almost everything that the release as soon as I can afford to do so and hate when I miss an LE something because then my collection feels "incomplete". That being said, I owe all three of the Naked palettes and I really do not use them all that much. I have only used Naked 3 2-3 times since I bought it the day it was released on the UD website. There are plenty of neutral palette options on the market and anymore I feel like the neutral thing has been done to DEATH! I am a color girl and I fell in love with UD because they make amazingly pigmented color products. I am hoping that the Electric palette sells well and is the fuel UD needs to get back to doing what they do best: COLOR. In regards to the Naked palettes, save your money. The Balm, Lorac, Smashbox, IT Cosmetics, and others all do really beautiful neutral palettes and they cost less than the UD palettes. UD, shame on you! Bilking your loyal fan base is really uncalled for.
  9. Finally coming out of winter here on the East Coast, USA and my lips are in terrible shape! I want to get them summer ready so I can wear bright pink, coral, and orange lipsticks but nothing seems to get the dry patches off the way that I want. I have tried the lip scrubs from Lush and they didn't do much for me. Does anyone have a lip exfoliator that they love? Leave me a comment so I can track it down and give it a try to get my pout in bright lipstick wearing shape. Thanks everyone!
  10. I have recently gotten into highlighters and I am truly enjoying the way that they transform my look. Just a few that I love are: MAC mineralize skin finish in Lightscapade, Stereo Rose, and Redhead. The Balm - Mary-lou Manizer and Cindy-lou Manizer Becca Skin Transformers - Opal and Topaz Too Faced - Candlelight Phyiscian's Formula Mineral Glow Pearls - Translucent ELF studio blush - Gotta Glow High end and super inexpensive in the above list. I bet that you can find something that you will really adore!
  11. I have a few MSF from MAC but outside of that I just feel like the brand is highly over rated and I don't get the hype. I own absolutely nothing from Bobbi Brown and don't think that I ever will because their products never seem to wow me when I see/swatch them and frankly, I think the line is highly overpriced!
  12. I have many ELF products and some are duds but there are some that are true stand outs that I reach for over my high end products. The ELF studio blushes and the studio baked blushes are amazing! They are highly pigmented, come in a gorgeous array of colors, and easily last on my combo skin 8-10 hours before fading. The ELF high definition setting powder is finally milled and just gives your face a flawless finish when using it to set foundation. The ELF studio bronzers are also really amazing. I have a blush/bronzer duo that is an exact dupe of Nars' Orgasm/Laguna duo. I am getting ready to place an order soon of some of their studio line lipsticks. I think I also want to try out their primer and their liquid foundation and see what my results are. Rarely does makeup break me out so we'll see what the coverage and staying power is like.
  13. I am a make-up brush hoarder! For some reason, they are some of my favorite things to buy and I have all kinds of brushes from various makers. However, some of my favorite inexpensive brushes are from ELF, Make-up Geek, and the Up & Up brand from Target. I also L-O-V-E my Sigma brushes. I am just getting into even higher end brushes from Nars, Marc Jacobs, and Hakuhodo. I have heard amazing things about the brushes from the YouTube guru Wayne Goss that I believe you can buy via beautylish.com Happy shopping!
