  1. Hi All, It's just hit spring....and people in Australia are beginning to rock some neon colours. Clothes, hair, makeup....crazy stuff. I recently got together with a local MUA (I am a big fan of makeup tutorials, work in the fashion industry to some degree but don't really have the skills to put makeup on other people) and we were going through trends for Winter/Spring 2013. Everything was storyboarded to present some classy runway trends- but on a budget. For this set of tutorials - I was really excited about working with different varieties of models. I hope you enjoy it and give me some pointers on how to better these tutorials (or some feedback I can give back to my MUA friend).
  2. I have a similar tutorial with a Malaysian-Indian model coming out on 5th September.
  3. I really like how everything is put together. I'm sort of in the "just started out" group but I'm really liking yours
  4. Hi, I've done two with an Asian MUA/Model duo. Hope it helps!
  5. Hi All, So I have a youtube channel as well. I do some work within the fashion/arts industry (I also have done some work in Asia) - I have to admit I'm pretty bad at applying makeup on myself, yet alone other people, so I work with other makeup artists and models but do the filming, editing and storyboarding based on the trends that are in Australia and other places I'm more towards budgeted and straight to the point tutorials, I also film fashion shoots I took part in, travel interviews with foreign models and also some of my charity work - these tutorials are something I love doing but a learning curve as I get more comfortable with filming. I would love some subscribers, some feedback and always interested in meeting new youtubers too (feel free to leave me a link to your work). http://www.youtube.com/user/honeytrapcollective/videos http://thehoneytrapcollective.wordpress.com/
  6. This look is really good on the model. I would be really scared of messing up and looking like a panda.
  7. Hi All, It's still winter in Australia.... so I hope this is appropriate for anyone who watches this video. So recently I worked with a makeup artist (I am a big fan of makeup tutorials, work in the fashion industry to some degree but don't really have the skills to put makeup on other people) and we were going through trends for Winter/Spring 2013. This is the winter tutorial and it's been nearly 5 months since I've done one of these smaller films - I hope you enjoy it and give me some pointers on how to better these tutorials (or some feedback I can give back to my MUA friend). If you're interested in this I have included the blog with the extra details. Thanks for viewing
  8. Yeah I noticed the same thing - I was really unsure with the colour combo at first, because of how bright the colours are, but when I actually saw them applied I realised they don't look overly scary because they are very shimmery but can be layered on.
  9. I would like to benefit from feedback as well. Tutorials aren't really known yet where I live but I'd like to expand my audience but finding out what I can do to get interest. My youtube is: http://www.youtube.com/user/honeytrapcol... I do the creative direction and pick out the looks but sadly don't have the talent to apply them (yet - I am working up to doing my solo shoots with just models and me).
  10. So this is my first time posting and I am looking to get some feedback and some interest in my beauty tutorials. It seems kind of strange that I would get a professional model and MUA to come do the looks but I am completely hopeless with makeup. I have a large input in what we do for looks and general ideas of what to film for tutorials even if I can't do something simple like eyeliner or picking a good shade of lipstick. The idea behind doing the shoots is to do a look for Australian/Southern Hemisphere weather and trends (I mean I love other tutorials but they are colours and textures that can't be worn on very hot days) but anyone who wants to do them can do them. Since it is festival season at the moment, the general idea was to try and do something to the popular "AZTEC" clothing trend. Thanks for taking the time to have a look at my video
