  1. Aussie Real Volume Root Lifting Spray

Brand: Aussie Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 2 - Needs Help Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

This root lifting spray is inexpensive and smells nice. But, it just didnt do its job, gave me no volume or lift at the roots. Also, the product itself is kinda sticky, I guess thats what made the nozzle clog up so fast. I literally had to rinse it under hot water almost every time when I used it

  2. TRESemme Root Lift Spray

Brand: TRESemme Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 2 - Needs Help Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

This is an inexpensive product, so I didnt really have much hopes for it. It didnt really do what its supposed to do though, there was not much lift at the roots after I used it. The nozzle it comes with is nice though, it helps you spray the product directly at the roots.

The only good thing I can say is that it smells nice. But sadly, it just doesnt do its job.

  3. Phyto Phytodefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm

Brand: phyto Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 4 - Just OK Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

I really dont understand why this product is mentionted in pretty much every magazine that does votings on what the best hair products are. I applied it thinking it will make my hair shiny, soft and frizz-free. Nothing happened though, my hair looked exactly the same even though I followed the instructions.

Maybe other people have had some success with this product, but I was definitely disappointed.

  4. John Frieda Frizz Serum extra strength

Brand: john_frieda Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 4 - Just OK Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

I bought this before the light version was available. My hair used to naturally frizzier than it is now for some reason, but its still thin. Using the serum just did literally nothing for my hair. Zero effect whatsoever! When I used more it made my hair greasy.

Maybe this works better for really curly, coarse hair though.

  5. Garnier Fructis XXL Volume - Thickening Mousse

Brand: garnier_fructis Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 1 - Horrible Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

This is my favorite drugstore volumizing mousse. It smells heavenly and fruity, and the bottle is huge for what it costs.

It gives nice volume and thickens the hair. I have fine hair, so no matter what mousse I use the results are never amazing from just the mousse alone, but this one does a fairly good job. The only thing you gotta be careful about is to brush your hair right after you put the mousse on, otherwhise your hair will get crunchy and stiff. Same happens if you use too much

  6. Back to Basics Flexible Hold Hair Spray

Brand: Back to Basics Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 3 - Just Average Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

This aerosol hairspray gave me nothing but problems. It was so stickey t hat it immideatly after the first use, clogged the spray nozzle and prevented the product from comming out. The scent was outragously strong.

  7. Bumble & Bumble thickeneing spray

Brand: bumble_bumble Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 4 - Just OK Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

Oh I love this stuff so much! It will definitely give your hair lift and body. I spray generously at the roots, and my hair stays full and volumized all day. Also, it smells like mint. The only down side is that its kind of expensive, but I\'ll deal!

  8. got2b styltini double shot hair thickener

Brand: got2b Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 2 - Needs Help Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

I\'m not sure how this is supposed to thicken your hair. It\'s the consistency of a runny gel and sticky as hell. Also it smells like tanning lotion. I tried it once before concluding that it was wretched. It made my hair look stringy and nasty.

  9. Sexy Hair Straight Sexy Hair Smooth and Seal

Brand: sexy_hair Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 3 - Just Average Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

I love this product! I bought it at Sephora after a lady from SexyHair Concepts used this on me before flatironing my hair. I was sold! My hair was so shiny and smooth.

I use this on damp hair after I get out of the shower, so I can brush my hair better. Its always so tangled when wet. Then I spray it on sections of my hair before blowdrying them. Then I straighten my hair with a flatiron, maybe spraying some sections again.

Just be sure not to overdo this, your hair might end up looking a big greasy if you spray too much, especially near the roots.

The result: straight hair that stays that way even in humid weather.

  10. got2b Glued blasting Freeze Spray

Brand: got2b Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 2 - Needs Help Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

I love this stuff because it does what it claims it will do- it freezes your hair and prevents it from moving. Your hair will not budge. Of course, this might be a bad thing if you want some movement, but I use it to set my hair after I tease it. Another thing that some people may consider to be bad...if you use hairspray often...is that this stuff is rather drying to your hair. I\'d definitely use some kind of light serum before applying this stuff.

Brand: Kenra Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 4 - Just OK Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

\"\" I find that this works especially well on shorter - mid length hair. I like to put it in damp, mess up the hair, and lightly blow dry. It helps create that toussled, bedhead look.

I couldnt find any pictures of this hairspray unfortunetly. It is friggin fantastic!!! Its not like other hairsprays in the sense that when you spray it, its not wet. It\'s completely dry. It can be used to \'fluff\' out curls or give mega volume.....would reccomend to everyone!!

  14. Goldwell Curl - Move Control Curl Putty

Brand: Goldwell Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 3 - Just Average Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

\"\" This is my secrets weapon for creating curls in those with straight hair and nicely defining natural curls. On straighter hair, I take some of the putty, warm it up vigorisly between my palms, then grab pieces of the hair and twist it like I\'m creating a dreadlock; once done the whole head, I will diffuse until dry and the results are spectacular everytime. On those with naturally curly hair, I like to use it on dry hair and just go over each curl with the putty.

  15. Goldwell Brilliance Radiant Star

Brand: Goldwell Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 3 - Just Average Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

\"\" I tried this shine spray a few times thinking the more I use it, I might start to like it, but that wasnt the case. I found it to be heavy and weighed down my curly hair. The shine wasn\'t overly impressive either.

  16. Goldwell Brilliance Luxury Affair Blow Dry Lotion

Brand: Goldwell Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 3 - Just Average Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

\"\" I\'m giving this a low rating on packaging only becuase I cant count the number of times that it\'s clogged up on me; That being said it is honestly one of the BEST blow dry lotions that I have ever tried. It\'s great for coloured hair, leaves the hair feeling soft and smooth and allows your brush to glide through the hair easier for faster blow drying.

  17. Goldwell Brilliance Jewel Shimmer

Brand: Goldwell Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 3 - Just Average Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

\"\" This is a pomade, defining product. I wouldnt necessarily use it on a daily basis, along with adding great shine and definition,  it also adds a sparkle/shimmer to the hair. It would be really nice on dark hair for special occasions or even blonde if you want the hair to reflect the light more. On my red hair, it didnt quite look right.

  18. Tigi Eco Freak Texturizer

Brand: tigi Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 4 - Just OK Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

\"\" The scent of the product sort of limits who it can be used on - men arent too fond of the cherry smell. Other then the scent, it works as a great pliable paste for the messy look.

  19. KMS Add Volume Root & Body Lift

Brand: KMS Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 3 - Just Average Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

\"\" After being highly impressed by the entire Add Volume line from KMS, I decided to give this product a go. I think it might be the worst root lifter that I have ever used. It sprays as a foam, which is fine except for the fact that it leaves white residue in the hair!!!!

  20. KMS Blow Dry Lotion

Brand: KMS Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 3 - Just Average Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

\"\" This styling product is amazing! When you first squeeze some of the lotion into your hands, it feels rather stickey and tackey....if you then rub your hands together and \'warm\' up the lotion, all the stickiness goes away completely! I like to use it as a volumizing lotion for fine hair or any hair texture that is in need of a super boost of volume!

\"\" A fantastic finishing spray for all hair types. It doesnt have a stickey hold, yet the hair will remian where placed. I like to use this when I\'m teasing the hair as it gives the hair added pliability and volume.

  22. Joico I.C.E. Spiker Water-Resistent Styling Glue

Brand: joico Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 2 - Needs Help Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

\"\" I have this in my kit incase I\'m doing a guys hair who wants his hair to have the highest hold level possible. It\'s a glue, so even applying it to the hair its a bit stickey. I\'m fairly confident that the hair could withstand a hurricane. I dont like this product is not water soluble. A special shampoo needs to be purchased inorder to remove this product from the hair.

Brand: Aquage Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 4 - Just OK Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

\"\" I had high hopes for this straightening product...I was extremely dissapointed. I think the water content of the product combined with the slimey texture made the hair frizz out!

  24. Sebastian Craft Clay

Brand: Sebastian Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 5 - Excellent Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

\"\" Craft Clay is the re-vamped version of Sebastians Original Xtah Crude Clay. The scent is different then the orginial, which in my opinion is great becuase who wants their hair to smell like dirty mud, but anyway, its the same product none the less. Gives matte texture to short hair styles and builds chunky pieces. Heavy and wouldnt rec for those with fine hair.

  25. Rusk Mousse

Brand: Rusk Purchase Date: 01/01/1970 Rating: 0 Price Value: 2 - Needs Help Value Purchase Price: $ Packaging Quality: 0 Description:

\"\" This mousse really unique compared to others on the market. First off, its one of the only mousse\'s out there that you do NOT turn upside down to dispense the product. The product can be fully dispensed standing up just how it is in the picture. This means less wasted product for the consumer. The texture of this mousse is not creamy; it\'s more of an \'icey\' feeling. Gives the hair great body and excellent hold!
