  1. Make-up and perspiration is a bad combination. You may look perfect stepping out, but as soon as the sun hits your face, you could find it shining in all the wrong places. Combat these unique summer issues with our some top tips for face care: Summer Bumps & Breakout- Breakouts always happen at the most inopportune of moments. If you find a pimple, try to bring it to a head with warm compresses and tea bags. Skin Hydration - A desire for a tan may leave you with a bit of a burn. Rubbing plain yoghurt on your skin for 10 minutes will help restore your skin's natural barrier, especially if followed with Aloe Vera. Oily skin care in summer - If you find yourself feeling extra oily with no blotting paper at hand, don’t stress. Getting Blackheads in Summer? Blackheads are the bane of our existence. Get rid of these dark spots by cutting a lemon in half, sprinkling the insides with sugar, and then applying it directly to your face each night. Red-Faced? - If you find yourself red-faced during the day, prepare a mixture of one-fourth teaspoon of salt and one cup of warm water. Skin Toning - Toning may be part of your daily skincare regime, but sometimes you need a little extra. For a more natural remedy, mix equal parts apple cider vinegar and water, and spritz on your face for the same effect. Dry skin in summer - For a quick, fresh, and clean way to rehydrate your face, rub a watermelon rind all over your skin. Summer Skin Hydration - Rub some honey, which is rich in vitamins and minerals, over your lips for instant hydration. Don’t forget your Sunscreen during the Summer - Wear sunscreen daily during the summer, and reapply it every two hours. Face wipes for cleansing - Minimize the damage caused by pollution by investing in facial wipes.
  2. Our skin is a very sensitive organ of the body. Every day it goes through environment changes, temperature fluctuations, pollution, and dirt. While tackling with all of them, it has a great responsibility to secrete oils and sweat to protect itself from the outside world and maintain the body temperature. Basically, at the end of the day it not only gets exhausted, but goes into a dire need of nutrients to replenish its energy. A chemical product may give your skin instant glow, but it becomes a crutch. It makes our skin dependent upon chemical based products so much that if the product is not used, the skin starts falling into the worst conditions like dryness, acne, excess oils etc. Hence, plant based skin care brands are emerging to bring you a better option that will replenish all the natural oils and nutrients of your skin and make it naturally healthy. The natural and plant-based skin care products do not have harmful toxins that your body might intake through the epidermis’ habit of absorbing whatever is applied on it. A product like – the rejuvenator dry oil emulsion is made only of natural ingredients like apple stem cell, natural oils and herbs. After a long day, they provide your skin hydration, phytonutrients, and boost cell protection and collagen. Intake of these products through the skin is completely safe because they share the same biological chemistry as our bodies and blend in.
  3. Whether you’re a college girl who will be waking up for an 8am class and going out at night, or a super mom who will be juggling work, taking her kids to school, making dinner, and soccer games, makeup that lasts all day is extremely beneficial! Who wants to worry about reapplying five times a day? If you follow these tips, you can put on your makeup in the morning and not have to worry about those annoying touch ups! Start With a Clean Face Applying makeup to a fresh face is the best way to make it last. Make sure you remove your makeup at night and then wash your face in the morning before putting on your makeup. It’s also a great idea to use a good moisturizer, such as our Citrus Stem Cell Intense Moisture Lock Creme. It helps improve skin’s complexion, elasticity, and texture, and also smooths wrinkles. Use a Primer – On Your Face and Your Lids Makeup primer makes the perfect base because it helps minimize pores, erase imperfections, and makes your makeup look better and last longer. Make sure aside from using a basic primer that you use an eye primer as well. It’s a must if you are wearing eyeshadow or liner so that it looks as clean and crisp at night as it did when you first put it on! Choose Oil-Free, Long Lasting Products The products you choose make a huge difference. Products that aren’t oil-free may not last as long because the oils will eventually make them fade. Go ahead and spend that extra $2 for the foundation that says “long lasting.” It’s worth it! Don’t Forget Pressed Powder and Setting Spray Once your look is complete, finish your look with a pressed finishing powder and setting spray! These products are designed to keep your makeup in place and also help remove any excess oil. Keep Your Hands Away From the Finished Product Try not to touch your face throughout the day! Not only can touching your face lead to breakouts, but the oils on your skin will remove your makeup.
