  1. Two recipes for Making your own Hand Sanitizer Gel Type Recipe Spray type Recipe Strong, effective and Potent is the key Definitely need some isopropyl alcohol. Hand sanitizer mix must be at least 60-75% percent alcohol to work. Best is above 75%. Of course, if you can, use isopropyl alcohol that is 99%. Much to your dismay, whiskey or vodka are not strong enough to eliminate the virus Your regular vodka and whiskey are too wimpy and won’t cut it. Gel Type Recipe Isopropyl alcohol Aloe vera gel Tea tree oil Mix 3 parts isopropyl alcohol to 1 part aloe-vera gel. Add a few drops of tea tree oil to give it a nice scent Spray Type Recipe Isopropyl alcohol Glycerol or glycerin Hydrogen peroxide Distilled water Spray bottle The aloe mixture gets the job done, but aloe also leaves your skin annoyingly sticky. So, here's a recipe that's less sticky and more potent, based on the mix recommended by the WHO.
  2. Hey guys, I am so obsessed with DIY beauty at the moment and I am on the hunt to find some great, do it yourself/at home recipes for face masks or face washes. I found this blog: https://letssoapbox.com/blog/diybeauty/ which had some great ideas but I want to find some more I have really dry skin so use a lot of products but I want to take the more natural route!
  3. Method In a mixing bowl, add about 2 spoons of hair gel. Mix it till it gets a little runny. Then, use the back of a spoon to scrape the eyeshadow pigment into the hair gel. Make sure you’re using a shade that’s about 2 shades lighter than your brow product shade. This will add just the right tint to the gel without making it too dark—you don’t want to top your already filled brow with a darker brow gel and end up looking like you drew it with a sketch pen, do you? We recommend going for the warm, light brown shade from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette in French Rose. Mix this until the eyeshadow powder is nicely blended in with the hair gel.https://www.bebeautiful.in/articles/how-to-make-diy-eyebrow-gel

  6. Hey guys! This is a Holiday Tutorial I did recently that I forgot to post. I have some acne issues and since I love makeup so much I decided to film a tutorial. I'm sorry for the low quality. 7. I just read about a DYI serum for thickening eye brows. Just mix argan oil, vitamin E and and castor oil. It didn't give the amounts for the mixture but I would assume most of if being argan oil, a few drops of vitamin e and some castor oil. I'm thinking this based on other type of oil mixtures and recipes I've read about.
  8. Hi beautiful! This is my first ever DIY eyeshadow palette inspired by Z Palette. It only costs $4 (or less) to make this palette and is perfecting for housing your individual pan eyeshadows. I use this one for my Makeup Geek eyeshadows! This is a medium size tin; however, you can buy larger ones at your local craft store. You could also use an old DVD Case, an Altoid tin, or an old eyeshadow palette. All you need is magnetic tape or a magnetic sheet (sheets are usually more expensive) which you can find at a craft store as well!

  11. I almost used the entire bag of Frank's Coffee Scrub and I'm in love. The ingredient list is very short so I decided to make my own to save a little money. I'm thrilled with how it turned out but I will warn you that it is still very messy. This scrub with help combat cellulite, dry or itchy skin, scars, sun damage, psoriasis and eczema. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPwateTAzZk&list=PLZrpzHPbSCLbbuINmD6DTC3pwdWTxuWjN

  13. I just went out to buy some lavender buds and peppermint essential oil for some homemade beauty products, and it got me thinking that I should start up a thread so we can share all our secret beauty concoctions and how they help us maintain our radiant splendor! A lot of homemade goodies go onto my bod. I almost never use commercial skin care (unless its free samples hehe...) and my skin is better than its ever been! My most versatile homemade item is my apple cider vinegar hair rinse/toner (it works on hair and skin) Which is 1 part distilled/purified water and 1 part ACV (make sure it's organic because the filtered stuff doesn't cut it). I also add a few drops of lavender oil to give it an antibacterial and skin-soothing boost. Put in in a spray bottle, mist your hair and face with it, and Viola! It's great for clarifying the skin and hair, restoring your natural ph levels after cleansing or shampooing, and ACV is well known for making skin and hair glow. I've even steeped dried calendula petals in distilled water and used that in it to help amp up the vibrancy of my red hair. I use it every day! I also really like making my own body scrubs. Just add a carrier oil (olive, coconut, sweet almond, grapeseed, ect) of your choice to a cup of sugar until it becomes a grainy paste. Add some vitamin E Oil to help preserve. There are also other fun things you can add. Lime or Lemon juice are great if you're using the scrub as a medium for shaving because the acids help remove dead skin and make your legs baby soft. I like to add peppermint essential oil because I'm addicted to how invigorating peppermint is. What do you guys make at home for beauty?
